Introducing SheKnows Diet & Fitness Magazine, Available January 17

Introducing SheKnows Diet & Fitness magazine — a magazine designed to help women explore the many avenues to look and feel their best — from healthy eating habits and diets, to fitness, beauty, fashion and humor.

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) January 7, 2006

Coincide Publishing is proud to introduce SheKnows Diet & Fitness magazine, available January 17. The magazine is designed to help women explore the many avenues to look and feel their best — from healthy eating habits and diets, to fitness, beauty, fashion and humor.

The premier issue shares feature stories on Curves Gyms, The South Beach Diet and an exclusive interview with creator Arthur Agatston, Rock-Hard Abs, Pilates, Yoga, Energy Drinks, Home Gym Products, Hip Fashion for the Gym and 23 Easy Diet Friendly Recipes plus much more.

“We have four concepts that we created the magazine around,” says Managing Editor Jen Wolfe. “The first concept centers around the word diet. For most women, the word diet implies eating sparingly or depriving themselves of food to lose weight. To us diet means so much more than that. Overeating is just one of the many eating disorders and diet issues in our society. We plan to explore other extreme eating habits such as orthorexia, bulimia and more.

“Proper nutrition is another issue that should have all health-conscious American concerned,” Wolfe adds. “Many Americans are malnourished, despite the vast amounts of food available and the growing incidence of obesity in our society. That’s because many people don’t eat the right kinds of foods — specifically, plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains and a balance of healthy proteins. Diet & Fitness magazine will explore healthy diets and healthy foods and shed some light on the confusing issue of what is healthy and what isn’t.”

The second concept behind SheKnows Diet & Fitness is exercise. “We strongly advocate a healthy exercise routine to accompany a healthy diet. And make no mistake, bodies needs both exercise and a healthy diet to look and feel great. Quite frankly, we think it is impossible to lose weight (and keep it off) without working at it, and that’s where the exercise comes in. That doesn’t mean exercise has to be a terrible labor or that is has to be boring. We will explore all kinds of exercise routines to help our readers look good and have fun doing it,” Wolfe says.

The third concept for the magazine is that it takes more than eating right and exercising to make a woman feel good inside and out. “We will share beauty tips and fashion picks to name just a couple of the many topics we plan to explore,” says Wolfe.

And the final concept of the magazine is humor. “We feel that in order to look and feel great, a sense of humor is essential. Research shows that laughter changes our brain chemistry (fighting off depression) and may even boost our immune system. It’s our goal to make our reader’s laugh out loud at least a couple of times while reading the magazine.” Wolfe adds.

The first issue of SheKnows Diet & Fitness will be available January 17 on newsstands nationwide. It is also available for subscription (1 year, 6 issues $17.99 or 2 years, 12 issues $27.99) by calling 1-888-881-5861. You can also visit www. SheKnows. com for more information. The magazine is presented by the publisher of the popular Web site www. SheKnows. com.

Adaptogenic Properties of Tahitian Noni Bioactive Beverages Revealed

Adaptogenic Properties of Tahitian Noni Bioactive Beverages Revealed

Bioactive Compounds in Noni Make It a World-Class Adaptogen

Provo, UT (Vocus) April 3, 2010

Tahitian Noni® International (http://www. tni. com/united_states/english/tahitiannoni/index. html? np=1) (TNI) have revealed that the noni (http://research. tni. com/united_states/english/research/about_noni. html) fruit is also a world-class adaptogen. An adaptogen is a plant that enhances the overall ability of the body to adapt to stress. Noni assists resistance to a broad range of negative physical, chemical, and biological stressors. It has a normalizing effect on the body that targets imbalances without affecting properly functioning systems. Noni fruit does all this without producing toxic side effects.

One of the most powerful aspects of noni’s bioactive compounds is their ability to help a body adapt, which is why they’re referred to as adaptogens. In simple terms, an adaptogen takes a personalized approach to safely benefit the health and function of a body’s systems. These compounds help living things sustain a natural, healthy balance.

Dozens of scientific studies show the adaptogenic effects of noni on both plant and animal systems. For example, strawberry plants produce more, larger, and sweeter fruit when noni is applied to their leaves. Calves thrive when noni is included in their feed. And most importantly, people who consume noni every day experience enhanced immunity, increased energy and endurance, maintained HDL cholesterol levels, and support for a healthy heart.

As adaptogens, Tahitian Noni Bioactive Beverages™ offer an impressive range of non-specific benefits including:
Supports the immune system Protects DNA Promotes joint health Increases energy & endurance Helps maintain healthy circulatory system Helps maintain healthy HDL cholesterol

John Wadsworth, president of Tahitian Noni explained, “Noni is different from all other superfruits like mangosteen, açaĆ, or gac, because it contains iridoids (http://research. tni. com/united_states/english/research/iridoids. html) and other bioactive compounds, and has now been proven to be a world-class adaptogen.”

About the Company
Tahitian Noni International is a global, research-driven bioactive products (http://research. tni. com/united_states/english/research/bioactives. html) company that was the first to introduce the health benefits of the noni plant—a bioactive-rich, adaptogenic plant, containing iridoid compounds—to the world outside of Tahiti. Tahitian Noni International is the leader in the discovery, development, manufacturing, and marketing of noni-based bioactive products including beverages, beauty, and weight loss lines. Tahitian Noni International has a presence in over 70 markets worldwide, and is the world-wide leader in bioactive beverages.

About BAM Radio Network:
The BAM Radio Network was launched to address the severe imbalance in parenting practices caused by the "commercialization of parenting" and the emphasis on intellectual development that excludes the critical role of the mind/body connection in early childhood. Created by leading early childhood experts, the programming challenges the popular genre of parenting notions that has given rise to commercial products like Baby Einstein, Brainy Baby and lapware, all of which claim to accelerate a child's mental development in the face of science that suggests otherwise. The network is a joint venture between New Hampshire-based Moving & Learning and Los Angeles-based Jackstreet Media Ventures LLC. The program is distributed through the Affiliate Nanocasting Network.

California Reverse Mortgages Give Seniors Financial Security

California Reverse Mortgages Give Seniors Financial Security

California reverse mortgage information shows how seniors can be financially secure with additional income. Reverse mortgage income can be used in any manner including payment of medical bills or vacation.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA (PRWEB) April 7, 2006

Over 150,000 seniors have already benefited from reverse mortgages. A California reverse mortgage is a loan that enables senior homeowners, age 62 and older, to convert part of their home equity into tax-free income-without having to sell their home, give up title to it or make monthly mortgage payments.

The money can be used for anything, from daily living expenses, home improvements, healthcare expenses, paying off existing debts, or simply enhancing the retirement years. For many people, the money provides a "financial security blanket," in case unexpected expenses arise.

You need not pay back the reverse mortgage loan to the lender nor make any monthly mortgage payments until the home is permanently vacated.

The money received from a California reverse mortgage loan can be used in any manner and because it is not considered income, it is tax free and will not affect Social Security or Medicare benefits. It is recommended that a CPA be consulted regarding the specific situation.

A California reverse mortgage loan can help parents create a new source of tax-free money without having to sell their home. In fact, they can stay in the home and tap into money they've earned in the form of home equity and avoid having to depend on relatives for financial assistance.

Full title of the home is retained without any risk of losing the home to the lender. And no matter what happens to the housing market, seniors can never owe more than the value of their home when it is sold.

When the last-remaining parent passes away while living in the home, the heirs simply pay off the reverse mortgage principal plus accrued interest. If heirs want to keep the home in the family, a new traditional mortgage can be arranged.

If no one in the family is interested in keeping the home, it can be sold to repay the loan. Any money left over goes to the estate to be shared according to the seniors' last wishes.
