Harriet White from John Carne Hairdressers is embarking on her first journalistic venture with a regular hairdressing page in a new bi-monthly glossy lifestyle magazine – Lightload Lifestyle.
Launched in April this year, Lightload Lifestyle is a refreshing new publication offering readers a diverse mix of content including health and beauty, fashion, celebrity interviews and news, giveaways and competitions plus features on property, travel, food and drink and much more. Harriet’s first piece will be in the magazine’s second issue, which will be available from 1st June 2006.
Harriet’s page will be an evocative mixture of trend and style predictions for the seasons ahead, news and gossip from the industry, hairstyling hints and tips and reviews of industry events she has been to. Harriet commented “I’ve wanted to start writing for sometime now and am really excited to be part of the team at Lightload Lifestyle”.
Lightload Lifestyle is different for a number of reasons. Firstly it’s a great read, packed full of interesting and informative content and it’s free. It is also available in two formats; a hard copy ‘glossy’ magazine and a PDF version that is available to download, free of charge, from the magazine’s website – www. lightloadlifestyle. com
Currently the hard copy circulation is focused on the Lincolnshire and Yorkshire areas, but Editor Tim Ellis says “our aim is to have copies of Lightload Lifestyle available in every city in the UK within the next three years” and judging by the number of electronic copies already downloaded from all corners of the UK this should be more than achievable.
