World’s First and Only Herbal Extract, Clinically Proven to Prevent Hangover Symptoms, Offers Unique Investment Opportunity

World’s First and Only Herbal Extract, Clinically Proven to Prevent Hangover Symptoms, Offers Unique Investment Opportunity

Nutrimark, LLC is poised for dramatic growth. The company is the distributor of the only herbal extract clinically proven to prevent hangover symptoms, with results of the study peer-reviewed and published in a journal of the American Medical Association.1

(PRWEB) January 27, 2005

The patented extract, called Tex-OE™, is derived from the skin of the fruit of the Prickly Pear Cactus (Opuntia ficus indica) by a patented process. For the purpose of preventing hangover symptoms, it can only be found in the product, distributed by Nutrimark, known as HPF Hangover Prevention Formula™.

When the news of the new patented herbal extract with the proven ability to prevent hangover symptoms hit major U. S. wire services, and was broadcast worldwide, sales of HPF Hangover Prevention Formula have taken off at Nutrimark’s websites and the company’s 24/7 call center. Now, to meet widespread requests from customers to offer HPF at retail stores, Nutrimark is formulating plans to market its products at retail stores across the country. In addition, the company is planning a nationwide advertising and marketing campaign to drive sales to stores carrying HPF and other Nutrimark products2. To accomplish its expansion goals, the company is currently raising capital by offering qualified investors membership units in Nutrimark, LLC.

Nutrimark’s CEO, Gerald J. Stefanko, an award-winning advertising and marketing professional with wide-ranging experience at national and international advertising and marketing firms commented. “HPF Hangover Prevention Formula is rumbling on the launch pad with all systems go. The brand, with its proprietary extract, is rapidly gaining awareness throughout the world via the media’s pickup of the patented Prickly Pear extract’s published report in the American Medical Association journal. And, as a result of HPF’s amazing effectiveness, word-of-mouth continues to promote the sales of HPF among family and friends. Nutrimark is now looking to build the capital necessary to maintain a promotional presence with persistence in the markeplace.” The company also plans to continue with an intense PR program which has already begun to build brand awareness through the placement of stories on HPF Hangover Prevention Formula and other products in national general interest and health magazines as well as reports on television, radio and newspaper stories across the country.

Nutrimark is in the process of raising its first round of investment capital. The proceeds will be used to market its product nationally and internationally. Anyone interested in finding out more about the company should contact Mr. Stefanko directly.

Mr. Stefanko, also suggests, “it is very likely that today the alcohol hangover is the most omnipresent and frequently recurring affliction in the world. In the United States alone 109 million people enjoy drinking alcohol. This presents an idea of the huge potential for sales of this product alone”.

1 An article in the June 28, 2004 issue of the Archives of Internal Medicine, a publication of the American Medical Association, presents a medical peer review of a published manuscript of clinical research performed, by a noted alcohol research team, on the role of a new patented herbal extract, Tex-OE™ in preventing symptoms from the alcohol hangover. The clinical study, performed by the same distinguished medical research team, that published a comprehensive report entitled The Alcohol Hangover, presented in the Annals of Internal Medicine in July, 2000, was performed among 55 graduate medical students at Tulane University. In the double-blind, randomized placebo study conducted at typical-style college barbecue parties on campus at Tulane, the patented extract, Tex-OE, derived by a special process from the skin of the fruit of a specific type of cactus, was found to be the first product ever deemed to be “statistically significant” at preventing hangover symptoms when taken before ingesting alcohol. The published study indicates that the subjects who took the supplement (versus a placebo) were half as likely to suffer severe hangover symptoms.

The peer-reviewed article published in the AMA’s Archives of Internal Medicine validates the claims of the Southern California company, Nutrimark, LLC, that is now selling Tex-OE as a dietary supplement. Trademarked under the name HPF Hangover Prevention Formula™, the herbal extract capsules are sold nationally via an toll free 24/7 call center (800) 720-2970 and via the internet at: www. hangoverprevention. com and www. perfectequation. net

2 Nutrimark also markets additional nutritional supplements at www. perfectequation. net

The company also has plans for line extensions to its high quality nutritional supplements line.

Eyelastin Firmly Establishes Its Presence in the Beauty Marketplace

Eyelastin Firmly Establishes Its Presence in the Beauty Marketplace

The next great anti-aging product of this decadeis is Eyelastin, a new eye cream created by Dermagevity Skin Care, which was promoted recently at the Health and Beauty (HBA) Exposition in New York City, NY, from September 9th-11th of 2008.

New York, NY (PRWEB) September 24, 2008

In a world of beauty--where the main theme is the 'fountain of youth'--many companies are constantly researching and developing new products to try and meet the immense demands of their customers, who are always searching for new skin care products that reduce the effects of aging and allow them to look and feel their best. And while there are numerous product launches occurring every day, rarely do the skin care products actually deliver as promised. But from time to time there are certain skin care products that wow the beauty world by not only following through as promised, but by offering a revolutionary new approach to way that many view skin care.

In enters the next great anti-aging product of this decade, Eyelastin, a new eye cream created by Dermagevity Skin Care, which was promoted recently at the Health and Beauty (HBA) Exposition in New York City, NY, from September 9-11, 2008.

The product features a unique blend of ingredients that not only reduces puffiness and dark circles around the eyes (also know as raccoon eyes), but also has age-fighting ingredients like Vitamin K and Hyaluronic Acid, which help to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, and rejuvenates the skin--like a modern day 'fountain of youth'.

"We knew that we were sitting on an amazing product that offers many benefits for our customers," says Lindsay Buckman, Eyelastin product representative who managed the Eyelastin booth at the HBA Expo, "But we had no idea whatsoever that the product samples would disappear at such a rapid rate."

After only a few hours their entire inventory of samples was given out as customers stampeded the Eyelastin booth to get their hands on a free sample of this amazing new skin care product.

"We have been blow away by the responses of our customers, as well as the mass amounts of media attention that Eyelastin has received," says Sharon Holt, a spokesperson for Dermagevity, "We know people are forever on the quest to look and feel younger, so we were anticipating this new product to do well, but for it to so quickly become one of the more sought after eye creams on the market is just phenomenal to us!"

One of the reasons that Eyelastin is garnering so much attention in the beauty world and in the media is because it actually works. By incorporating a unique blend of ingredients, which have been scientifically proven to reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and eliminate puffy eyes and dark circles around the eyes, it is clear that the makers of this product are surely on to something fantastic.

"There are no other skin care products currently on the market today that contain the right mixture of ingredients and that can produce the profound results like Eyelastin does," says Holt, "The unique combination of ingredients, including age-fighting elements such as Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 and almitoyl Oligopeptide, and our specialized formula of Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin K (proven to minimize puffiness, dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles), allows for our customers to enjoy the many age-fighting elements that Eyelastin has to offer them!"

Of the massive consumer response to the Eyelastin product launch at the HBA Expo, Holt says, "Our clients are growing by the thousands daily. We are now working hard to keep stock levels buoyant and therefore keep the smiles on our customers' faces!"

Eyelastin is slated for a national Europe launch in early 2009 and is currently available online, and at select retailers in the United States.

About Eyelastin:

Tips on Getting Your Home Ready for A New Pet Dog

Tips on Getting Your Home Ready for A New Pet Dog

It's Christmas and the decision has been made to give that special someone a pet puppy as gift. Well, it's not enough to just bring the new family member home. Is your house safe and ready for your new pet?

East Amherst, NY (PRWEB) December 15, 2005

It's Christmas and the decision has been made to give that special someone a pet puppy as gift. All the homework has been done in selecting the proper breed with the right characteristics and temperament.

Numerous dog breeders and pet shops have been visited in order to find just the right puppy. Finally an adorable puppy is found, one that will make the perfect companion.

Well, it's not enough to just bring the new family member home.

Your house needs to be ready for the new addition. Remember that puppies are like babies, wanting to explore all parts of your house.

Is your house safe and ready for your new pet?

Check for these:

1. Clear your house of poisonous items: Has the house been cleared of all poisonous items? Have they been taken them out of your pup's reach? If not yet done, now's the time to put away cleaners, laundry detergents, bleach, disinfectants, insecticides, cleaning fluid, fertilizers, mothballs and antifreeze in cabinets or high up on shelves. An adventurous growing pup will be sure to jump high on to your shelves to find out what's there.

2. Uproot all life-threatening plants: Does your home have life-threatening plants? Apricot pits, spinach and tomato vines are dangerous to your puppy. Ask your vet to identify more such plants that could affect your pet's health and life. An excellent resource on the web is to visit http://vet. purdue. edu/depts/addl/toxic/cover1.htm (http://vet. purdue. edu/depts/addl/toxic/cover1.htm) for a detailed listing of poisonous house plants. If suspected, that the puppy may have been poisoned with the wrong plant, contact the Animal Poison Control Center 888-4ANI-HELP (888-426-4435).

3. Put away dangerous objects: Are electrical cords and tools hanging and lying around? If there are such dangerous objects lying around, pick them up and put them away.

4. Supervise the puppy: Don't let your pup be unsupervised whether inside or outside the house. Remember to keep the puppy away from balconies, upper porches and high decks or they may just slip through the openings and fall.

5. Keep your toilet covered: Puppies sometimes like to play in the toilet bowl water. This is harmful for the pup as they may swallow the toilet cleanser.

6. Get sharp objects out of the way: Put away all sharp objects such as sewing needles and pins far away from your puppy's reach. If swallowed, these objects can harm their mouth and internal organs.

7. Don't tie ribbons round the pup's neck: They may chew it and this can lead to digestive problems or choke them if the ribbon gets caught in something.

8. For plant nibblers: If the puppy tends to nibble on grass, don't worry, this is natural. But if they expand this habit and nibble on certain other plants, this could affect your pet's health and life.

These simple precautions will help ensure the safety of your new puppy as you welcome the new family member into your home.

Indiana Inventor Creates Full Body Heated Massage Gloves After Taking Mom's Advice

Indiana Inventor Creates Full Body Heated Massage Gloves After Taking Mom's Advice

Wonderfully relaxing heated massage gloves that provide a penetrating low temperature full body, heated massage. They stimulate muscles and awaken the mind, body and spirit.

South Bend, IN (PRWEB) March 25, 2006

Three years ago, 32-year-old Inventor Llyas El-Amin was giving his mother a shoulder massage, when she casually said to him, "It really would be great if you had some heat on your hands." Bing! Light bulb goes off in his head. He said to himself, "Sounds too simple. Someone has to have already done that." But to his surprise, it had not been done.

Having a little artistic background helped El-Amin draft initial drawings in order to conceptualize a glove that would distribute heat from the inside out. After countless hours of research about different heat massage therapy products, El-Amin came up with Bean's massage gloves. The gloves are smooth soft, form-fitting gloves made with pockets on the inside of the palm, where you can insert air-activated heat packs providing a low temperature heated massage for the body and hands. "After two years of good thorough research of a heating source, fabric and stitching to create the formfitting design, I was able to get a few prototypes done". El-Amin said.

After registering his invention with the U. S patent and Trademark Office, El-Amin spent time creating small user groups of about 20 to 30 massage enthusiasts. The response was overwhelming and people who liked the idea of having heat massage therapy at home wanted to keep the prototypes. "At that point, I knew I had invented something that would help thousands of people enjoy a at home heated massage, with a revolutionary product". El-Amin said.

Massage therapy is exploding each new year. According to the American Massage Therapy Association, 28% of adult Americans got a massage within the last five years. Of that 28%, 23% got them for relaxation and stress reduction, 53% for health related-reasons, and 15% to pamper themselves. Twenty-five percent of Americans expect to get a massage within the next 12 months. El-Amin says he has something just for that a new disposable soft cotton lisle glove that can be thrown away after each use. " This is what massage therapist have been needing and wanting, but it is also for the at home users as well".

El-Amin has done his homework in the industry, currently there are no marketed massage products or patents that even resemble Bean's Heat Massage Gloves.

Creations & Things has several other products that will be coming soon. El-Amin plans on attending various tradeshows and plans on meeting with massage schools around the country.

Bean's Heat Massage Lycra half Gloves can be used for:

Carpal tunnel and arthritis and massage

Bean's Heat Massage Lycra and Cotton whole glove can be used to:

Relax and re-energize

Relieve stress and tension

Relieve aches and pains

Improve circulation

Improve lymphatic drainage

It is a great holiday gift, a popular product for chiropractors offices for heat therapy after adjustments. The disposable glove it is a good seller in spas and beauty salons. Massage therapists and sport trainers have found it to be a useful product as well

Permanent Cosmetic Industry Expert Jaudon Sunde Invited to Serve on the National Advisory Board for the Alliance for Safe Practice

Permanent Cosmetic Industry Expert Jaudon Sunde Invited to Serve on the National Advisory Board for the Alliance for Safe Practice

Permanent Cosmetic Industry Expert Jaudon Sunde has been invited to serve on the National Advisory Board for the Alliance for Safe Practice that will oversee the State of Ohio. The Alliance for Safe Practice mission is to advance safe practice in the permanent makeup industry and to be a source for accurate reporting for permanent makeup professionals. The Alliance for Safe Practice aims to impact the permanent makeup profession in a profound way by shaping the regulations that govern permanent cosmetics in their state.

Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) August 5, 2008

Permanent Cosmetic Industry Expert Jaudon Sunde has been invited to serve on the National Advisory Board for the Alliance for Safe Practice that will oversee the State of Ohio.

Based in Arlington, Texas, the Alliance for Safe Practice (http://www. safepractice. us (http://www. safepractice. us)) mission is to advance safe practice in the permanent makeup industry and to be a source for accurate reporting for permanent makeup professionals; their 2008 initiative is to work with state government regulators to establish sound regulations and legitimate industry protocols for certification processes and apprenticeship programs in each state. The Alliance for Safe Practice aims to impact the permanent makeup profession in a profound way by shaping the regulations that govern permanent cosmetics in their state.

"It is imperative more now than ever because of the demand that we raise standards in our field to avoid some of substandard work performed by inexperienced technicians," says Sunde.

The Alliance for Safe Practice seeks to work with those physicians and practitioners who are most qualified and committed to integrity and procedure excellence in the permanent makeup profession. "Jaudon Sunde was chosen to represent the Alliance in the state of Ohio because of her tireless efforts to raise training and certification standards and because of her skills and expertise in the permanent cosmetic industry," said Sandi Hammons, ASP president (http://www. sandihammons. com (http://www. sandihammons. com)).

Hammons commends Sunde for her commitment to ethics, integrity and personal service. "I have known Jaudon Sunde for several years," Hammons added. "She is not only personally committed to ongoing education, she is very skilled in her field, and her principled directives and commitment to public service is very honorable."

Jaudon's business caters to people with medical conditions who can no longer apply cosmetics or who have lost eyebrows and eyelashes and facial definition to cancer treatments.

Sunde is certified as a Master Instructor-Trainer by the American Institute of Interdermal Cosmetics and was selected as a Speaker at the 2007 International Intradermal Cosmetic Expo (IICE) in Dallas, Texas. Her precision work and motivational efforts have been featured on national programs such as Inside Edition and numerous local television news reports around the country. A former model and national makeup consultant, Sunde has worked with some of the foremost companies in the world including Chanel, Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent. Jaudon also held the position as National Seminar Director for Christi Harris Co, a National Cosmetics company in Dallas, Texas.

Jaudon also had the privilege of working under the guidance and supervision of several of the worlds most renowned Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Ramsey J Choucair and Dr. Sam Hamra of Dallas, Texas as well as Dr. Michael H. Wojtanowski and Dermatologist, Dr. Lydia Parker, both of Cleveland.

Sunde has a thriving Permanent Makeup Practice in Strongsville, Ohio and is also the creator and owner of the popular Permanent Cosmetic Web site My Wake Up To Makeup. com link to www. mywakeuptomakeup. com.

For years, regulatory agencies, permanent cosmetic practitioners, physicians and consumers have been searching for a method to identify skilled practitioners who adhere to safe practice guidelines and exhibit a high level of ethics, competency and artistic expression. Today, the standards in which we practice cosmetic tattoo procedures have improved. However, existing programs fall short of protecting consumers and they do little to identify and support permanent cosmetic practitioners worthy of professional and advanced credentialing.

Health departments are now calling for longer term training programs. Regulators recognize the need for public protection, education and long term, ongoing support and education for practitioners. The Alliance for Safe Practice will also be developing a national advertising campaign to raise public awareness of the Alliance and our credentialing process. California, Tennessee, Colorado and Ohio will be the first states that are targeted in the initial efforts for legislative action.

Further, all of the online CE courses at HFO are updated and maintained on a regular basis to offer state-of-the-science theory - and evidence-based education. HFO's courses are available in an online format, as well as in downloadable, transportable PDFs. Mental health professionals are able to access and complete courses at their own pace, on their own schedule, anywhere there is access to the Internet. Professionals can print their own online continuing education certificates to meet licensure deadlines, and courses can be revisited to view updates and certificates reprinted at any time.

Hayti School District Awarded School Improvement Grant to Implement Program from STIAchievement Services

Hayti School District Awarded School Improvement Grant to Implement Program from STIAchievement Services

STI to provide professional development and coaching services to Hayti School District to support turnaround efforts, using data to improve instruction and student achievement

Mobile, Ala. (PRWEB) September 22, 2010

Hayti School District (http://www. hayti. us) in Hyati, Mo., has been awarded $2 million over a three-year period in School Improvement Grant funds provided to the Missouri Department of Education under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. As part of the district’s reform efforts, its schools will be implementing Ready, Set, Go!, a customized program of professional development, research-based strategies, and data-driven decision-making designed for school improvement. Ready, Set, Go! is a new offering developed by STI (http://www., a leader in K-12 education data management solutions.

To determine School Improvement Grant eligibility, the state department of education, with guidance from the U. S. Department of Education, categorized eligible schools into three tiers. Tier I comprises the neediest and lowest-performing schools in the state, and Tier II schools are among the lowest-achieving five percent of secondary schools. Tier III schools are those in the bottom 20 percent in the state based on proficiency that do not qualify for Tiers I and II, and the remaining Title I schools in improvement, corrective action or restructuring that do not qualify for Tier I.

Hayti School District, categorized as a Tier II school district, included Ready, Set, Go! in its grant application as an integral component in bolstering school improvement efforts targeting grades 7-12. Offered through STI’s Achievement Services business, Ready, Set, Go! provides school leaders with the knowledge, skills and tools to systematically and effectively process and evaluate student information, instructional practice, professional development, and leadership to increase student achievement.

Ready, Set, Go! will be implemented in the 2010-11 school year for a one-year contract consisting of 45 days of on-going, personalized professional development. The STIAchievement Services team will develop customized plans for the Middle/High School (which serves grades 7-12) that will engage stakeholders in preparing, evaluating and acting on “Multiple Measures of Data” to support student achievement throughout their communities. The team will develop a plan of action after evaluating current school data and programs to identify trends and barriers to improvement. The team will then work collaboratively with school leaders to set the stage for the improvement process by transforming the school’s culture and educational practices. Findings from the data analysis and school evaluation are used to: inform curriculum alignment and pacing, create an instructional framework aligned to standards and the curriculum, develop a formative assessment program that addresses individual student needs, and engage teachers in job-embedded professional development on effective instructional strategies. This process also enables schools to establish a powerful response-to-intervention system for students at risk. Finally, the team will help the school build a foundation for continuous improvement—centered on sound data-driven decision-making—by monitoring progress, mentoring teachers, modeling best practices, and fostering supportive professional learning communities.

The School Improvement Grant award announcement comes on the heels of another exciting announcement within the district. After the elementary schools implemented STIAchievement Services in 2009, grades 3-6 made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) this year due to the significant gains in their MAP test scores. Tests results indicated an increase of over 45 percent in Math, and an increase in all subgroups in both subject areas, Communication Arts and Math, in grades 4-6. Educators were exceptionally enthusiastic about the news, as grades 4-6 have not made AYP in seven years.

The STIAchievement Services team is led by skilled school improvement specialists who are veteran educators with extensive experience in education data analysis, instructional design, and school reform. For more information, visit www.

“It is amazing what you can still learn at 73,” Says Newcomer to Prosperity Automated Systems

“It is amazing what you can still learn at 73,” Says Newcomer to Prosperity Automated Systems

At 73, and living with emphysema, Bob Prosser is an example of the indomitable spirit that characterized his hard-working generation, but trying to survive on what he gets from Social Security is nearly impossible. Prosser found the answer in Prosperity Marketing Systems when a friend shared his experience in PAS with him.

Wharton, NJ (PRWEB) August 11, 2006

At 73, and living with emphysema, Bob Prosser is an example of the indomitable spirit that characterized his hard-working generation, the one that beat Hitler, took on the war in Korea, and then came home to raise a new generation they called “the Baby Boom.”

Like others of his generation, Prosser just refuses to give up. The way he looks at it, “If this week can be better than last, and last week better than the one before it, that's all I ask."

Prosser is hardly the type of guy who would fall for just another “get rich quick” scheme, but he is proud to be one of the newest members of Prosperity Automated Systems. PAS was founded 12 years ago by Bill Osterhout and is fast becoming an Internet marketing phenomenon.

"Prosperity Automated Systems is a good way for a retiree to make a living,” Prosser believes. “Even if my health was great, it’s impossible to live on Social Security. What I get from Social Security barely pays the rent."

An option for the elderly with good health is to keep on working, even if that means pushing shopping carts around a supermarket parking lot. Prosser says, “What I needed was a job where I could take things fairly easy and still make enough to live decently. That’s when Jay Trevorrow, my sponsor in Prosperity Automated Systems, came to my help.”

Prosser and Trevorrow were old friends from their days in the automobile business, when Prosser was a mechanic and Trevorrow ran a body shop.

Prosser recalls, “Jay had been in PAS for about a year, and he simply showed me how it worked for him. The beauty of it is the team spirit that is generated because your sponsor has a stake in seeing you succeed. Jay is my trainer and mentor. The relationships in PAS are wonderful.”

He adds, “Even more important, it’s a system that really works for you. I don’t have to make sales calls or show up at 8 o’clock in the morning and work until 6. The system does the hard work for me. Frankly, I don’t what else in the world I could do to make a living if PAS wasn’t there.”

Prosser does not look on PAS as a “get rich quick” scheme. “At this stage of my life, I'm not greedy," says Prosser. "All I want to do is make a decent living. If I can make one or two sales a month, I will be very happy.”

“To be honest,” Prosser says, “PAS is not totally effortless. You do have to plan on putting a certain amount of what you make back into marketing. But that’s true of any other business. It is all the rest that is easy.”

Prosser isn’t new to making good money. He spent 40 years in construction and 10 more as an auto mechanic. “With six kids to feed and educate, I had to make money. They are all grown now with lives and families of their own, and my wife passed away some time ago. But life moves on."

Asked about today’s economy, Prosser says, “There is no question about it. Good jobs are hard to come by. Some days, I wonder what all those guys in Washington and Wall Street are smoking. They don’t think about the impact of their decisions on the little guy.”

Prosser is thrilled to be able to participate in the new world of global Internet marketing. "I am new to the Internet, but I’m eager to learn to learn all about it. Jay has been a big help to me there. To me, Prosperity Automated Systems is a like a gateway to a big global market for us little guys. It is amazing what you can still learn at 73.”

Cirond Corporation to Unveil Solutions to "WiPhishing" Threat at WLAN Event in London

Cirond Corporation to Unveil Solutions to "WiPhishing" Threat at WLAN Event in London

Cirond Corporation(OTCBB:CROO), a global provider of network security solutions that protect wired and wireless networks against the rapidly growing threat arising from the deployment of unauthorized wireless devices, announced today that it will unveil a comprehensive suite of enterprise solutions to combat the "WiPhishing" and related "evil twin" security vulnerabilities at a press conference to begin at 1:20 PM in Room 305 of the Olympia Exhibition and Conference Center in London on April 20, 2005 during the Wireless LAN Event.

(PRWEB) April 13, 2005

Cirond CEO Nicholas Miller, who recently created the word "WiPhishing" to describe the wireless network security threat faced by the more than 100 million wireless laptops in use worldwide, will be joined at the press conference by noted cybercrime expert and lecturer at Cranfield University, Dr. Philip Nobles, who first broadly articulated the "evil twin" wireless security threat faced by users of wireless-equipped laptop computers. Both men will explain the increasing danger to personal and corporate information held on wireless-enabled laptop computers from hackers able to wirelessly "break and enter" these laptops to steal information and introduce viruses without coming in physical contact with the computers they are attacking.

"Every wireless device is a potential route for a hacker into the home or corporate network," said Dr. Nobles. "Users may not be aware of the risks to their own data stored on poorly-secured wireless devices - and businesses need to ensure that employees use wireless devices that are managed as part of an enterprise security policy."

Mr. Miller will also explain Cirond's product strategy including its broad range of new anti-WiPhishing solutions and will Explain the role that its new exclusive UK dealer Network Utilities will play in the roll out of those solutions to UK customers. In addition, Cirond will be demonstrating its new products on the Network Utilities exhibit (stand 807) and offering a free "WiFi Security check" for all those who visit the show with their wireless-enabled laptop computers.

"We urge all event attendees to bring their wireless-enabled computers to our free "WiFi Health Check" at the Network Utilities stand during The Wireless LAN Event," said Miller. "You'll get tips on keeping your laptop secure - and a free 30 day trial copy of Cirond's ground-breaking AirSafe Personal security connectivity and security tool. It will ensure that your laptop doesn't connect to un-trusted wireless networks - and will prevent hackers from connecting to your wireless laptop and then using it to 'hop' onto your wired network."

How to Cover the News:

UK and European Media representatives can schedule personal product demonstrations and one-on-one interviews with Cirond CEO Nicholas Miller by contacting Paul Calderwood at Kingswood Public Relations on 020 8763 2241, while North American press should contact Stephanie Noiseux at Elite Financial Communications Group at 407-585-1080.

Alan and Francine Yurko's baby boy was killed by a series of events that started with a vaccination from the most deadly batch of DTaP of the 1990's (according to government records) and ended with hospital overdoses of heparin and bicarbonate. The doctor who administered these overdoses covered up his mistakes by blaming Alan of shaking his son. Not knowing, at the time, what killed his son; Alan Yurko was convicted of murdering his own child in 1999 and sentenced to life plus ten years in prison, without the possibility of parole. He has been in prison since then. Alan Yurko's case is coming up for appeal August 23, 2004. Approximately $50,000 is needed to cover legal costs.

DDT Ban Opens Pesticide Market To Alternative Methods And Products To Controlling Recent Bed Bug Infestation

DDT Ban Opens Pesticide Market To Alternative Methods And Products To Controlling Recent Bed Bug Infestation

Bed bug infestation products are important in controlling the infestation. Recently there has been a lot of problems with bed bugs up and down the east coast.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) October 22, 2010

The 1972 DDT ban in the United States and subsequent worldwide ban, substitutes have been taking over the insecticide market for the past 30+ years.

Recognizing recent reports of bed bug invasions in large cities like New York, bedbugshredder. com/blog has developed a new effective and safe formula for ridding households of bed bugs.

DDT, once hailed as the only synthetic insecticide with close to a 100% rate of effectiveness has been of the market for close to 40 years. Since then some insect spread diseases and parasites have been on the rise, most recently bed bugs. Due to DDT being harmful to animals, humans and the environment and not being reintroduced for public use in the foreseeable future bedbugshredder. com/blog has developed a natural, non-toxic formula that is effective and most importantly safe to use around children and pets.

“I couldn't believe that we were having a bed bug resurgence in this country“, said Jason, Bed Bug Shredder developer, “but something had to be done to kill these critters. People are way more aware of chemicals and they want natural. No fumes and no poisons. That's where we come in”. Bed Bug Shredder is toxin and poison free leaving users with a sense of calm knowing they aren't exposing their family to dangerous chemicals.

If bed bugs are detected on clothing or in the car they have most likely been transported into the home. They are not relegated to just the bed. Preferring dark and warm places to live in, bed bugs aren't relegated to only the bed many times being found in couch upholstery, dog beds, cars, dresser and closets living in the clothing. Bedbugshredder. com/blog is designed to kill these pests without effecting your or your family's health.

FlexCare Medical Staffing Awarded Certification from the Joint Commission

FlexCare Medical Staffing has achieved the Gold Seal of Approval™ for health care staffing services from The Joint Commission.

Roseville, CA (PRWEB) August 25, 2008

FlexCare Medical Staffing has achieved the Gold Seal of Approval™ for health care staffing services from The Joint Commission.

FlexCare Medical Staffing underwent an unannounced, on-site review of its compliance with national standards addressing how staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of their staff, how they place their staff, and how they monitor staff's performance.

"Health care organizations that contract with FlexCare Medical Staffing can look to this certification as an assurance that FlexCare demonstrates a commitment to providing and continuously improving quality services," says Michele Sacco, M. S., executive director, Health Care Staffing Services Certification, Joint Commission.

The ongoing shortages of nurses, pharmacists and other health care professionals have forced health care organizations to increasingly fill positions with temporary workers through contractual arrangements with staffing firms. The Joint Commission's certification program, launched in October 2004, offers an independent, comprehensive evaluation of a staffing firm's abilities to provide competent staffing services.

"This certification recognizes FlexCare's dedication to providing Registered Nurses that are qualified to provide safe, high-quality care to patients," says Natalie Simmons, Director of Nurse Recruiting. "We're proud to receive the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval™."

Founded in 2006, FlexCare is a leading provider of supplemental staffing for the healthcare industry, focusing on travel nursing services and permanent nurse placement. FlexCare was founded with the mission of providing both RNs and Hospitals with a valuable resource to enhance both career opportunities and patient care. LTCA Reveals Best Places in America for Long-Term Care

LTCA shares Genworth's 2009 Cost of Care Survey and Interactive Map. New to the 2009 Cost of Care Survey is the Genworth Choice and Affordability Index. The complete study is available for download.

Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) May 4, 2009

For the sixth year in a row, LTCA is pleased to make available nationwide Genworth's 2009 Cost of Care Survey and Interactive Map (http://www. ltc-associates. com/Content/GenworthCostofCare. aspx? sec=basics). The most comprehensive study of its kind, the 2009 Cost of Care Survey conducted by CareScout® covers more than 14,000 nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home health and adult day health care providers in 331 regions across America.

"The most useful information is local information," noted Robert Forman, President of LTCA, "which is why the Genworth Survey has become the industry's gold standard. With 3 times the expanded scope and depth of last year's Survey, Americans can gain a clear understanding of the costs of Long-Term Care in their own part of the country. When planning for their future retirement needs, such local information can prove invaluable to families and their financial advisors."

New to the 2009 Cost of Care Survey is the Genworth Choice and Affordability Index (http://www. ltc-associates. com/Content/GenworthCostofCare. aspx? sec=basics), which ranks regions where there is a greater number of nursing home choices at a more affordable cost in proportion to the area's 65+ population, creating an index for the best places in the U. S. for nursing facility care. The top 10 states for affordability and choice include IA, SD, KS, NE, ND, OK, MO, AR, WY, and LA.

Mr. Forman continued, "Data from this year's Survey point to nursing facility and assisted living costs which have risen sharply in recent years. As an organization that is committed to helping our strategic partners and their clients find the best solutions to their retirement needs, we are pleased to be able to provide educational materials such as the 2009 Cost of Care Survey (http://www. ltc-associates. com/Content/GenworthCostofCare. aspx? sec=basics) in our role as one of Genworth's largest Brokerage General Agencies. While many Americans have seen the values of their homes and portfolios dwindle, the cost of Long-Term Care continues to rise. I hope Baby Boomers and other pre-retirees will avail themselves of the free Survey as a launching point for a conversation with our Long Term Care Specialists."

About us:

Q Fever! - A New Medical Humor & Satire Website

Q Fever! - A New Medical Humor & Satire Website

(PRWEB) June 16, 2000

LOS ANGELES, CA, June 14, 2000 – Q Fever! (http://www. qfever. com (http://www. qfever. com)) is a refreshingly new healthcare humor, parody, and satire website, offering all-original features, articles, and stories approximately every two weeks, “depending on how nice you are to us” (in the words of the editors).

Many in the medical community will find that covered topics bear uncanny relevance to items and events in their own education, training, and daily lives. For instance, the article “Medical Student Identifies Cluster of Mysterious New Illness” reports on (fictional) student Andy Fishback, who ‘discovers’ an alarming increase in the number of ailments his relatives and neighbors reveal to him upon his return from his first semester at medical school.

Other headlines include “Amphotericin B Bladder Wash Now Available in Mango-Guava,” and “Goomba Sent To Lab For Analysis.”

Feature articles include “Medical Student Corner,” where the “patients” at an EKG Clinic are, in fact, ailing EKG machines, and “Ask Dr. Q,” where Dr. Q, a “Retro-Health Practitioner,” answers questions ranging from “Why are there so many rainbows, and what’s on the other side,” to “I’ve just discovered the vibrate mode on my beeper, and now I can’t stop paging myself – what should I do?”

All content on the website is original, and is written by Q Fever!Â’s editors and staff.

Q Fever!, whose motto is “Your #1 Source For Healthcare Misinformation,” and whose mascot is “Hippocrates,” a purple hippo, is the brainchild of two infectious agents, M. Furfur, MD and B. Cereus, MD, both of whom completed their Internal Medicine residencies in New York.
