Ciclismo Classico, a top biking vacation company, has added three new destinations for the 2008/2009 season, expanding beyond its traditional European trips. Cyclists can now enjoy trips to Vietnam, New Zealand and Chile/Argentina.

Arlington, MA (PRWEB) June 27, 2008

In an effort to expand beyond Europe and to uphold its mission to discover the best bicycling routes in the world, Ciclismo Classico, one of the country's premier bicycle tour companies, has added three new regions to explore, giving travelers the opportunity to cycle during the fall and winter from October - March. For its 2008-2009 season, Ciclismo Classico has added Chile & Argentina, New Zealand and Vietnam.

"When we started 20 years ago, our focus was on Italy," says Ciclismo founder and cycling enthusiast Lauren Hefferon. "Over the years we added France, Spain, New England and many others continuing our goal of offering an array of safe, healthy, fun vacations that span Europe and immerse our riders in the culture and cuisine of the country they're visiting. Now, with the addition of three new continents to our trip menu, new and returning cyclists will experience touring the Ciclismo Classico way in places where the lands are ripe with discovery and the dollar goes a bit farther."

The company, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, has put together these three new tours, all of which include local guides, a fully-outfitted bicycle rental, accommodations and meals, cultural excursions, travel planning and more:

Chile and Argentina - debuts October 25, 2008
Ciclismo's South American tour is the only one of its kind and offers the option of an 8-day base trip or a 10-day extended trip. Riders will cycle nearly 200 miles of scenic mountain routes with the snow-capped Andes nearby. Along the way, you'll get the chance to ride by the Seven Lakes, visit five national parks, take a hike to Petrohue Falls, stop at the Curarrehue Museum and soak in the Huife hot springs. The additional two days will feature a trip to Santiago and the Colchagua Valley, an exclusive discussion about Chilean wines with a local sommelier, three private winery visits, and a horse-drawn carriage ride through the Vina Viu Manent's vineyard. The 8-day trip starts at $3.795/person. The two night post-trip extension is an additional $1,195.

New Zealand - debuts November 16, 2008
This itinerary offers the choice between the base 10-day trip and an extended 14-day stay. The nearly 300-mile journey on the South Island starts in Christchurch and continues along New Zealand's west coast and through the Southern Alps. During the bike tour, guests will ride the TranzAlpine Train, one of the world's greatest scenic railway journeys. In addition to great biking, guests will witness a jade carving demonstration, hike to the base of the Fox Glacier in Westland National Park, go sea kayaking, and even visit a sheep farm. The extended package includes an overnight cruise on Milford Sound or Doubtful Sound, the opportunity to ride an additional 100+ miles, a stay in Te Anau, a ride to the shores of Lake Wakatipu, and a steamship ride to Queenstown. The 10-day trip starts at $3,995/person. The optional four night post-trip extension is an additional $1,895.

Vietnam - debuts October 25, 2008
This 11-day ride from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) features more than 200 miles of scenic and cultural cycling including riverside riding, coastal explorations, mountain passes, rolling hills and small villages. Riders will get the chance to see a traditional water puppet performance in Hanoi, experience a garden and tea stop while cycling through Hue and boat to the Coral Islands off Nha Trang. The itinerary also features exclusive visits to the homes of four Vietnamese experts, a boat cruise on the Perfume River and a ride to the famous Cu Chi tunnels. Guests also have the option to extend this trip for four days for a visit to Angkor Wat, Cambodia, where they will explore the city of Angkor Thom, visit the famous temple complex and a local Cambodian orphanage. The 11-day trip starts at $3,995/person, and the three night post-trip extension is an additional $1,275.

These tours are designed for small groups of between 14 and 18 guests, so space is very limited. A $500 deposit is required to make a reservation. From the 1st Tee to a Decade of Great Golf - Golf Mesquite Nevada Celebrates its 10 Year Anniversary

From the 1st Tee to a Decade of Great Golf - Golf Mesquite Nevada Celebrates its 10 Year Anniversary

Golf Mesquite Nevada celebrates its 10 Year Anniversary in 2011.

Mesquite, NV (PRWEB) December 8, 2010

The golf course that lit the fuse of the golf destination explosion in Mesquite, Nevada was the Palms course. The William Hull designed course opened for play in 1989 and with it came rave reviews, golfers from across the nation and now, a 10 year anniversary.

Golf and specifically, golf at the Palms, was the perfect remedy for the burgeoning hotel casino industry looking for a way to attract more travelers to Mesquite, NV as a tourist destination.

Golfers of all abilities found the Palms not only as a challenge to their game but also a resort amenity that became the perfect companion to the sparkling pools, exciting casino action and delicious dining options provided by the hotels.

The championship Palms course has wide, vibrant fairways on the front nine highlighted with water features and sand bunkers. It’s the lush conditioning and 200 palm trees that give the 6,800 yard, par 71 course its resort feel. The mountainous back nine has dramatic elevation changes and requires a little more emphasis on shot placement to score well. The now famous 15th hole has a breathtaking view from the elevated tee boxes and a vertical drop of 114 feet from tee to fairway.

Coming out of the current over-seed season, the Palms golf course is in the superior condition found at any of the world’s high end golf resorts. Perfectly manicured tee boxes and fast smooth greens are a treat to play. The popularity of the Palms has been enhanced by the “local play” green fees.

From its humble beginnings as a sleepy little town with just one golf course, Mesquite has now reached the status as one of the fastest growing golf vacation destinations in the United States. Seven championship courses now stretch the city’s borders from tee box to tee box.

Mesquite’s location makes it ideal for golf vacationers. Just 37 miles south of St. George, Utah, and 80 miles north of Las Vegas. Mesquite is centrally located between some of the most popular outdoor recreation sites in the region. Lake Mead, Lake Powell, Zion National Park, Cedar Breaks and Brian Head Ski Resort are all within a day’s adventure. Mesquite also offers many recreational opportunities for families of all sizes with skeet and trap-shooting range, fishing, swimming pools, resort spas and of course, golf.

With the growth of the game of golf in Mesquite came the creation of Golf Mesquite Nevada, a marketing co-op formed in cooperation with nine golf courses and four resort hotels. The GolfMesquiteNevada. com website was created to provide an all-inclusive point of purchase for golfers and travel groups to easily book their tee times and hotel accommodations. Currently celebrating its 10 year anniversary, Golf Mesquite Nevada offers the lowest stay and play packages for any length of golf vacation available in the Mesquite area.

There is something for every golfer on the Golf Mesquite Nevada menu. World-class designs by Jack Nicklaus (The Chase at Coyote Springs), Arnold Palmer (The Palmer course at the Oasis Golf Club), and John Fought (Sand Hollow Resort Championship Course) are just a few of the exceptional courses available. Coral Canyon, Falcon Ridge, CasaBlanca, The Canyons and the brand new Conestoga Golf Club round out the championship roster available to golf vacation planners. The best asset of the collection of GolfMesquiteNevada. com golf courses is the variety. You can play nine different golf courses and never get the same feel or look from one to another. Each course has its own distinct personality and challenge.

Planning a Golf Mesquite Nevada visit is as simple as visiting http://www. golfmesquitenevada. com or calling (866) 720-7111. Independent Laboratory Testing of Waste Hydraulic Oil Used on Surgical Instruments at Duke Hospitals

Independent Laboratory Testing of Waste Hydraulic Oil Used on Surgical Instruments at Duke Hospitals

Lawyers announce the results of the independent laboratory testing of waste hydraulic oil used to wash surgical instruments at two Duke University Health System hospitals, Durham Regional and Duke Health Raleigh. During November and December of 2004, approximately 3,800 patients in Durham and Raleigh, North Carolina, were exposed to toxic contaminants during surgical procedures.

RALEIGH, N. C., (PRWEB) September 22, 2005

HensonFuerst Trial Lawyers, a North Carolina-based law firm, in conjunction with Bales Weinstein of Tampa, Florida, which has significant expertise in toxic tort litigation, announce the results of the independent laboratory testing of waste hydraulic oil used to “wash” surgical instruments at two Duke University Health System hospitals, Durham Regional and Duke Health Raleigh.

During November and December of 2004, approximately 3,800 patients in Durham and Raleigh, North Carolina, were exposed to toxic contaminants during surgical procedures. This exposure resulted from Duke University Health System hospitals mistakenly using waste hydraulic oil in the instrument sterilization process instead of detergent. Since January of 2005, HensonFuerst has been contacted by numerous victims who were exposed to this waste hydraulic oil.

After considerable effort, victimsÂ’ attorneys were allowed obtain samples of the waste hydraulic oil for testing. The law firms retained an independent materials testing laboratory, wholly unconnected to the Duke University Health System, in order to obtain unbiased results.

The laboratory results confirm that hazardous contaminants were indeed present in the waste hydraulic oil to which patients were unknowingly exposed.

Used hydraulic oil is classified by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency as a “regulated waste.” This is because such oil degrades, causing extensive chemical changes, and also becomes contaminated with chemicals and debris from hydraulic equipment.

Independent testing arranged by victimsÂ’ counsel was clearly more exhaustive in scope than tests previously ordered by Duke University Health System officials. The limited test results previously provided by a Duke-retained laboratory were released in an effort to convince patients that their exposure was not harmful. This was misleading as the independent test results reveal a different story.

Independent testing revealed large amounts of visible masses. These masses were made up of metal particles, accumulated over time from wear, and soot-like carbon particles formed as the hydraulic oil broke down. Additionally, anti-wear additives in the oil changed form and released their component substances.  Due to these breakdown processes and the accumulation of foreign particles, the waste hydraulic oil appeared visibly darker in color.

Specific contaminants identified by the independent laboratory include arsenic, lead, cadmium, chromium, nickel, zinc and other metals. Arsenic, cadmium, chromium and nickel are metals that can cause cancer. LeadÂ’s propensity to produce a variety of adverse health effects has made this metal a particular focus in regulatory controls of chemical exposures.

Research regarding a number of the identified metals has documented their potential to increase susceptibility to pneumonia-like illnesses and other infections. Many of the same metals have been associated with allergic reactions and the progression of long-term autoimmune illnesses. Particulate matter, such as that found in the waste hydraulic oil, can trigger foreign body reactions that slow wound healing, and its petroleum components can cause irritation to the skin or other tissue.

This information reveals that patients clearly need further evaluation. Chemical analysis alone does not provide enough information because each individualÂ’s contact with the oil differed. Therefore, it is important for the exposed patients to seek an independent medical evaluation. Now that we have identified the contaminants in the waste hydraulic oil to which patients were unknowingly exposed, doctors and scientists will have specific chemicals to consider as they evaluate the health of their patients.

Global Confectioneries Market to Reach US$186.3 Billion by 2015, According to New Report by Global Industry Analysts, Inc

Global Confectioneries Market to Reach US$186.3 Billion by 2015, According to New Report by Global Industry Analysts, Inc.

GIA announces the release of a comprehensive global report on Confectioneries market. The global market for confectioneries is forecast to reach US$186.3 billion by the year 2015, driven by the growing popularity of sugar-free categories, exotic flavors and region-specific products. Value-addition portrays vibrant opportunities, while premiumization emerges as the best revenue earning strategy. Rapidly emerging Asian countries with increasing disposable incomes and propensity to experiment with new flavors hold promise for future expansion.

San Jose, CA (Vocus/PRWEB) January 10, 2011

Confectionery, which was once considered as a value item, is transcending traditional notions and gradually attaining the status of staple snack in households in most of the developing markets akin to developed countries such as the US and Europe. Growing disposable incomes in emerging nations such as in China, India, Indonesia, Mexico and Eastern European countries is helping kindle the demand for confectioneries. Availability of value-goods increased as super market chains and malls mushroomed, contributing to rising sales of confectionery.

In the coming years, the global market for confectionery is forecast to be driven by value-added product innovation, strong marketing and promotion strategies by manufactures and innovative and elegant packaging of products. Sugarless confectionery, low fat products and functional confectionery would dominate product innovations in the near term. While mature markets would retain their position as the largest markets for confectionery, growth rates in developing nations are expected to be stronger and even outpace industrialized economies. World over, the rising per capita consumption of chocolate coupled with growing interest towards healthy diets is representing ample opportunities for growth. Besides markets leaders, private labels are also projected to gain impetus with rapidly mushrooming retain chain stores. Latest findings that brought to light the possible health benefits of consuming dark chocolates resulted in increased sales in the segment. Fortified chocolate bars are trying to grab their share in the nutrition and energy bars market. In the gum category, functional, fortified gums are fast replacing conventional breath freshening chewing gums. While many producers continue to boast dental advantages of chewing gums, few others are trying to take advantage of the ability of the gum to offer full-body benefits - energy boosting gums for instance.

The global confectionery market is witnessing huge investments from producers towards product development and promotion. Heightening competition with high-value impulse items, hastening pace of lifestyle, maturity of major markets, growing health awareness and mushrooming product innovations and launches are driving up the costs of promotion and innovation in the industry. Advertisements of confectionery products are becoming more creative and focusing on the positive, health-giving aspects of consuming confectionery, rather than promoting the product as a mere indulgence. Confectioners are also investing huge amounts in research and new product development.

The global economic recession that surfaced in 2008 resulted in sluggish growth in the following two years with many segments witnessing decline in sales. In addition, a broad range of snacks and drinks introduced in the period ate into confectionery sales. In comparison to the rest of the confectionary groups, the chocolate confectionary market, specifically the boxed/assorted category fared relatively well during the recession period, showing only a mild decline. The number of new chocolate products launched in 2009 was the same or even higher in comparison to 2008, in some countries such as Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America. However, market shares of leading players in the chewing gum market declined due to the impact of the economic slowdown. Competitive landscape in the industry shrank further with the acquisition of Cadbury by Kraft Foods in early 2010 and Wrigley by Mars Inc. in 2008.

The market started recovery only by mid 2010 and the impetus of growth was attributed to expansion in large regional markets of Western Europe, US and the emerging markets of China and Brazil. In many of the matured markets and in few developing countries, premium products came to the market’s rescue and revived the slack in pace. Despite decline in demand due to recession, sales of premium chocolates grew by 5.0% during 2008, owing mainly to perceived health benefits.

Europe is the largest regional market for confectionary products, specifically chocolates and gums, as stated by the new research report on Confectioneries. The US and Asia-Pacific markets trail behind as the other two major confectionary markets worldwide. Asia-pacific is also forecast to expand at the overall fastest CAGR of 6.6% through 2015. In terms of products, Chocolate Confectionery constitutes the largest market. Chocolate segments such as Bars/Blocks/Slabs and Boxed/Assorted are highly popular with the consumers. In terms of overall growth potential however, the Gums category is slated to grow at the fastest compounded annual rate of 4.2% over the analysis period.

Key market participants in the report include Ferrero S. P.A., The Hershey Company, Kraft Foods Inc., Cadbury Schweppes PLC, Cadbury Adams USA LLC, Lindt & Sprüngli, Mars Inc, WM. Wrigley JR. Company, Nestlé SA, Orkla ASA, Perfetti Van Melle SpA and Chupa Chups S. A.

The research report titled “Confectioneries: A Global Strategic Business Report” announced by Global Industry Analysts, Inc., provides a comprehensive review of market trends, key industry drivers/restraints, packaging/distribution, product innovations, recent industry activity and profiles of market players worldwide. Analysis and overview is provided for major geographic markets such as US, Canada, Japan, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East. Market analytics are provided in terms of value (US$) for product Group/segments including Sugar Confectionery (Sweetmeats, Boiled Sweets, Caramel & Toffees, Mint Sweets, Lozenges and Other Sugar Confectionery), Chocolate Confectionery (Bars/Blocks/Slabs, Boxed/Assorted and Other Chocolate Confectionery) and Gums and Other Confectionery. The study also provides historic data for an insight into market evolution over the period 2000 through 2006.

New DataCore Customer Alameda County Medical Center Selects SANmelody Storage Virtualization and Citrix XenServer

New DataCore Customer Alameda County Medical Center Selects SANmelody Storage Virtualization and Citrix XenServer

By embracing virtual SAN storage servers in conjunction with XenServer, healthcare provider receives an affordable solution that is far more flexible than a proprietary approach. Together, DataCore SANmelody and Citrix XenServer provide replication and ensure full disaster recovery.

Oakland, CA and Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) July 28, 2008

DataCore Software, the leading provider of storage virtualization software, today announced that its SANmelody software is serving as the foundation of a replication and disaster recovery (DR) plan at Alameda County Medical Center (ACMC) that was orchestrated by DataCore partner Entisys. The IT environment at ACMC was fundamentally based upon products from Dell and EMC as well as virtual machines from VMware. ACMC is comprised of multiple sites and as a county hospital the organization is under a number of budget constraints. Entisys presented the Citrix XenServer and DataCore SANmelody DR solution based upon XenServer, which provides great savings to the medical center. "Instead of buying another EMC product to replicate the SAN, we showed them what DataCore can do and ACMC was able to complete a replication scenario for pennies on the dollar with XenServer and DataCore," said Thad Morrow, Director of Sales, Entisys. "But it is not so much about the cost savings as much as it is a case where ACMC could use DataCore to support a very distributed environment where multiple vendors' products are deployed and make a full-on disaster recovery solution possible."

"ACMC has struggled to maintain a disaster recovery or business continuity plan, and has had to use what was available to us - an existing data center that is thirteen miles away," said Ed Dullard, Chief Information Officer, Alameda County Medical Center. "ACMC had been a longstanding Citrix customer, so for cost savings it was a natural choice to replace VMware for XenServers."

"We had been a Citrix shop, so we jumped at the opportunity with XenServer," said Dave Bennett, Director of Technical Support, Alameda County Medical Center. "We liked the product and did not see any tangible difference between them and VMware. As for DataCore, we started looking at SANmelody at the request of DataCore partner Entisys. This was the best technology we saw for our needs, whereby we could economically leverage iSCSI for the remote site SAN rather than spend a lot more on a Fibre Channel SAN." ACMC is currently deploying the solution. The initial data pool will start at 8TBs.

For the deployment, ACMC chose Dell hardware to run the SANmelody-XenServer solution. From a software standpoint, the solution cost ACMC at least five times less than a comparable, proprietary hardware SAN. The choice was more than just money, however; it was about flexibility. With DataCore ACMC does not have to worry about matching up machines, nor did they have any issue with the replication software being able to "talk" between disparate hosts. This ease of use and manageability was just as important as upfront cost savings because the IT staff at ACMC is already spread thin, wherein eight IT people support 2,600 users.

The mission of the medical center is to maintain and improve the health of all County residents, regardless of ability to pay. There are six campuses comprising ACMC, including the main hospital and trauma center in Oakland, California, another hospital in San Leandro, California, provides rehabilitation and extended care, a psychiatric hospital in the same location and three ambulatory clinics. In terms of the IT architecture, all of the campuses are linked via a high speed ATM providing 65 MBs of bandwidth.

Two years ago ACMC purchased and deployed a SAN from EMC. "That was the first step we took in order to consolidate storage rather than using individual servers," explained Bennett. "As such it was the first step down this path." Since then, Dave and his team have taken a different look at the way they store data as well as what is stored, particularly in terms of putting a premium on both data and systems recovery. The organization used VMware in conjunction with its EMC SAN. With DataCore, both VMware and XenServers are in place currently - although longer-term the plan is to standardize on XenServer. "The cost difference between VMware and Xen is pretty substantial," Dave added. "As for DataCore, I could see some real advantages in using DataCore in our environment."

Chiefly, Bennett and his team were sold on SANmelody's ability to first and foremost enable them to utilize existing server storage that was not being used, thereby eliminating the need to go out and buy new disk space. Performance was another key selling point. As for price, Bennett comments, "The price was right. SANmelody just made sense when you put the whole thing together - being able to use existing storage where possible and the performance increases we saw firsthand."

The disaster recovery site at the secondary location in Fairmont will enable ACMC to avoid going to tape back-ups. With the DR site, the IT team can pull data right away and pull whole systems up if necessary when the ones at the primary location go down. "Before this, our whole DR plan revolved around just how fast we could get servers and software available to rebuild them," explained Wright Lassiter, CEO, Alameda County Medical Center. "With virtualization technology as it is today, it makes sense to be able to bring systems and data over from another site when the situation dictates that."

ACMC is taking the classic virtualization approach. They have physical servers, which will be virtualized and then replicated on virtual machines. The VMs with those changes will then be replicated to ACMC's Fairmont site and available in the case of any calamity. "DataCore made this project very achievable for a variety of reasons," summarized Morrow. "A real win for DataCore was the simplicity of the technology. Sure SANmelody is affordable, but more than anything DataCore technology is effective. Additionally, the IT staff at Alameda County Medical Center could implement SANmelody quickly, as well own, manage and grow the solution very easily without the need for professional support."

Futureperfect Center Offers New, Technology-Based Approach to Body Sculpting and Weight Loss

Futureperfect Center Offers New, Technology-Based Approach to Body Sculpting and Weight Loss

Plano, Texas-area women will receive a sneak preview of a new concept in total body management at a free seminar at the LakeSide Market on March 22 at 6 p. m.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) March 26, 2007

This spring, Dallas-based MedSurge Advances will introduce futureperfect, a breakthrough concept in weight loss and body sculpting for women. The first futureperfect center will be located at LakeSide Market in Plano.

Women in the Plano area who are interested in learning about futureperfect are invited to attend a free informational seminar at Vintner's Cellar Custom Winery at LakeSide Market, 4025 Preston Road, on March 22, 2007, at 6 p. m. Additional seminars will be held on April 5 and April 19. To RSVP for an event, please call Amanda Griffice at (866) 928-7696 or e-mail agriffice@medsurgeadvances. com.

Futureperfect Total Body Management Centers are a major innovation in health and fitness -- enabling women to lose weight through cutting-edge European and Japanese medical technologies that reduce the need for strenuous workouts.

Futureperfect™ is not a gym or fitness center. It's not a fad diet. It's a wholly new concept in body management that helps women achieve real results without plastic surgery or exhausting exercise routines.

The futureperfect Total Body Management System

The futureperfect™ Total Body Management System features four components that, together, lead to success in body sculpting and weight loss:

1. Breakthrough technology. Working with medical equipment companies worldwide, MedSurge Advances has identified innovative body-shaping and fat-burning technologies that have been clinically tested to prove their effectiveness. These technologies enable members to see dramatic results with minimal rigorous exercise.

2. Nutritional education. A registered dietitian is on staff to personally help members with meal planning, portion sizing and calorie control.

3. Support network. To help members stay focused and motivated, educational meetings are held regularly in group settings.

4. Medical management. Unlike other weight-loss or fitness centers, each futureperfect™ center is managed by a licensed doctor who ensures the highest standards of quality and professionalism for the facility.

Acoustic Wave Therapy

MedSurge Advances offered a sneak preview of futureperfect technology last year with the introduction of Acoustic Wave Therapy™ (AWT™) - a new treatment program to smooth and firm dimpled skin.

AWT was created by the Swiss company Storz Medical, which adapted technology originally designed to ease the pain associated with poor circulation and stiff joints. MedSurge Advances is the exclusive U. S. distributor for AWT.

Dimpled or uneven skin is a nagging problem for millions of women, including those who work hard to keep fit. Through Acoustic Wave Therapy, women can achieve smoother skin in the areas where cellulite commonly forms -- the thighs, buttocks, abdomen and arms.

Since AWT's introduction in September, more than 140 physicians have begun offering the therapy to their patients at medical spas across the United States. AWT has treated skin dimpling on more than 1,500 women -- and has received news coverage in more than 35 television markets, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas and Miami.

AWT is only one of several new body-shaping and fat-burning technologies that will be part of the futureperfect center at LakeSide Market when it opens in Spring 2007.

The Latest Innovation from MedSurge Advances

Futureperfect (http://www. futureperfect. com (http://www. futureperfect. com)) is a breakthrough concept by MedSurge Advances (http://www. medsurgeadvances. com (http://www. medsurgeadvances. com)), a leader in helping physicians start medical spas and other aesthetic practices. MedSurge Advances medical spas are the premier centers for light - and laser-based aesthetic treatments, the fastest-growing segment in U. S. healthcare today. Since 2002, MedSurge Advances has been a proven partner in the development of more than 300 medical spas nationwide.

Consumers who would like more information about futureperfect should call Amanda Griffice at (866) 928-7696 or e-mail agriffice(at)medsurgeadvances. com. Interested members of the news media may call Rob Huckels at (214) 540-3807 (rhuckels(at)medsurgeadvances. com).

Is Your Company Destined to Make Headlines for Its Handling of Sensitive Records and Information?

Is Your Company Destined to Make Headlines for Its Handling of Sensitive Records and Information?

International association offers tips on how to avoid pitfalls in information management.

Lenexa, KS (Vocus) April 16, 2007

Making headlines can be a good thing - unless it's because an organization has mishandled its sensitive records and information. Just ask Affiliated Computer Services, Radio Shack, TJX, the most recent examples of this apparent phenomenon.

On April 9, the Georgia Department of Community Health announced that Affiliated Computer Services confirmed the loss of a CD containing personal data of 2.9 million Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids™. The data was presumably not encrypted and included personal, identifying information - including full names, birthdates, and Social Security Numbers.  On April 2, the Texas State Attorney General filed suit against Radio Shack Corp. (to be heard in the district court of San Patricio County, Texas, case number S-07-5333CVC) because employees at one of its stores dumped bulk records containing unencrypted personal, identifying information for thousands of customers in garbage receptacles behind the store. Radio Shack could face fines of $50,000 per incident, plus civil penalties of up to $500 for each abandoned record. (http://www. oag. state. tx. us/oagnews/release. php? id=1961 (http://www. oag. state. tx. us/oagnews/release. php? id=1961))  On March 28, TJX revealed that hackers accessed credit card and debit card information for almost 46 million customers in 2005 and 2006, plus driver's license numbers and other personal information for an additional 451,000 customers who returned merchandise. It's being called the biggest financial breach ever.

The costs of such incidents can be devastating, not only financially but also in terms of customer trust.

"The only protection any company has against these types of occurrences is a well-developed, enterprise-wide records and information management program," states Marilyn Bier, Executive Director of ARMA International, a not-for-profit association and authority on managing records and information. Not only do the policies and procedures have to be in place and well documented, adds Bier, but there must be adequate training throughout the enterprise.

So how do you ensure your company doesn't suffer a similar fate as these and many other companies (remember Bank of America, Choice Point, DSW)? Here are some important steps to take today:

Form an information management compliance team. In today's information-centric enterprise, compliance requires that Legal, IT and RIM all be at the table. No one department can provide a complete solution to ensure your company is compliant with current regulations, effectively protecting its data, and ready for electronic discovery in case of litigation. Assemble a team from these and other key compliance-related areas to work together to assess the organization's potential risks and identify the policies, processes, and technology required to address them.

Assess your current program's potential risks. Before you can identify solutions, you need to know what the problems are. You need to find out where your current records and information management program is vulnerable. Do you know what information you have, where it's located, and how to retrieve it? Particularly your e-mail and other electronically stored information (ESI)? Recent changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure specifically establish this expectation. There are online self-assessment tools available specifically designed to help you determine where you are at risk. Look for tools that are based on current case law, standards, and best practices for best results. (See www. arma. org/profiler (http://www. arma. org/profiler))

Evaluate your e-mail management policies. E-mail continues to challenge organizations. With the growth of e-mail, voice-mail, and instant messaging - as well as other electronic records - the capacity for discoverable information has increased. This month, create or review your company's electronic records policies. Pay particular attention to your e-mail retention policies emphasizing retention based on the content of the messages, not the application. For best results, this will be done in collaboration with the rest of the compliance team.

Update and document your policies and procedures. Once you've performed your self-assessment, you should have a good idea as to which policies and procedures need to be developed or updated. There are a number of resources available to help you in this effort, including various standards and guidelines. (See www. arma. org/bookstore (http://www. arma. org/bookstore)) It's also critical that your policies and procedures are well documented. That's one of the things courts look for: do you have a policy and did you follow it?

Take the time to train: Individual employees play a critical role in helping your organization comply and succeed in litigation, audits, document preservation, and daily records and information management tasks. If you don't have an enterprise-wide training program that is delivered at least annually, now's the time to implement one. One of the expectations put forth in the new federal rules is that all employees are trained on how to appropriately manage electronic information. Securing that information should be part of that training, as well. To make it easier, ARMA International and Kahn Consulting Inc. have produced Keeping Good Company, a DVD-based information management training program complete with facilitator and participant workbooks. It can even be licensed for use on your corporate intranet for easier access and administration.
(See www. arma. org/learningcenter/goodcompany (http://www. arma. org/learningcenter/goodcompany))

This product is virtually indestructible. It will save 20 to 50% in the cost of building a structure, home or commercial.

(PRWEB) January 7, 2003

· You will enjoy an extreme fire rating! Over 4 HOURS OF DIRECT contact!

· You will enjoy sound resistance (#40)

· Insulation of R18-R45+ vs. the industry's standard of only R12 or MAYBE R13 in frame homes.

· You will lower your utility bills

· No more "tip-toeing" around the house at night... be as loud as you feel like!

· Love to crank up the stereo/TV at night? Now you can!

· An Earthblock home will not burn down as a frame home will, as Earthblock can be exposed to DIRECT flame for 4+ HOURS without failing or igniting. Compare that to the SECONDS it takes a 2x4 (piece of lumber) to ignite. That's peace of mind!

· You will enjoy a high quality SOLID building, not a "weaker" structure where you can literally "punch" a hole through the wall with your bare hands.

· Even the 3 little pigs knew NOT to build with sticks!

· Your house will last MUCH longer than any wood or concrete block structure. That's a GIVEN! Guaranteed!

· You will be proud of being a part of mass recycling as ONE house can recycle well over 60 TONS. Not only is 60 TONS MORE than most cities recycle in an entire year... but it BEATS the 2+ acres of wooded land that otherwise would have been KILLED in order to provide the lumber.

· Earthblock is an obvious and healthy choice.

And to YOU as a builder/developer/architect:

· Same as above... and in ADDITION:

· Earthblock allows you to save 20%-55% in construction costs.

· NO additional insulation is needed!

· NO additional framing required!

· NO Splitting beams!

· Under roof faster than ever!

· Building with Earthblock is a EASY!

· You will be able to offer a superior building to your clients. (MUCH better than wood frame and concrete block)

· You will be a part of mass recycling rather than supporting the mass killing of trees for lumber and the pollution of mother earth for cement.

ASTM C-518 (insulation value): R-value of R16- R20 depending on model and thickness (10 inch standard is R19).

ASTM E-136 (fire/combustibility): Fire test by DIRECT torch punishment for over 4 hours: Application of a direct flame from a propane blow torch (Blue flame) to Earthblock surface will not cause combustion. When the torch is removed, even after minutes, Earthblock will not support combustion and cools off quickly, showing only mild surface roughage and discoloration where the flame was DIRECTLY applied to the block. Earthblock will revolutionize the way that the Insurance Industry looks at future policies and can make lumber/concrete block obsolete in the construction of residential and commercial structures. Not to mention the unbeatable high fire-safety standard of Earthblock buildings.

Hot "oven" test: This test introduced small cube Earthblock samples to temperatures of 750º C. Since this is well above the combustion temperature of wood, the samples began to make a sizzling sound, due to embedded sawdust. However, the samples hold their structure and do not collapse. This indicates that full-size Earthblock would have to be DIRECTLY EXPOSED to a long period of extreme heat of over 750º C (At least 4.5 hours +) to induce combustion or total structural failure.

ASTM C-67 (strength and shock absorbency): Direct hammer blows: Direct blows with a hammer only cause small dents and external surface damage to an Earthblock. Earthblock will not break/shatter in pieces as concrete does. Earthblock absorbs the blows beautifully. With repeated manic-power-blows, you can obviously create local hairline fractures here and there and also cause eventual fragmentation, but only after more powerful hammer-blows, with the same exact hammer, that you can shatter any concrete block with on just ONE BLOW (Grab a hammer and a concrete block and you'll see for yourself). Earthblock proved its superiority in a proud and efficient manner. It proves its seismically superiority and uniqueness.

ASTM C-140 (compression load): Ratings in the 500 - 700 psi range. This makes Earthblock handle much more weight loaded than concrete block is able to handle. This proves that Earthblock's load bearing capabilities surpass the concrete blocks easily and effectively. (Ex: 250-300 psi is the minimum for adobe block.)

ASTM C-666 (weathering): Immersion in water and 200+ freeze-thaw cycles caused no loss of internal or structural integrity. Only minor surface damage due to the extreme punishment caused by the test. Under water: Earthblock samples absorb water and also lose it through wicking. However, this causes no swelling or weakness in Earthblock. Samples with our water-repellent additives almost double in strength after soaking and drying. Even soaked samples maintain their strength beautifully. Soaked samples scored from 500 - 1,000 psi.

Benefits to Mother Earth:

Wood and concrete block are (sadly enough) used to build most homes and commercial buildings in today's economy-driven society even though this contributes to the mass extraction of wood for lumber and the polluting effect of Portland Cement production. ABS purpose is to mass recycle and effectively turn Billions of tons of material into beautiful, high quality and efficient Residential, Commercial and Industrial Real Estate at a lower cost.

Unit Dose Solutions Signs Five Hospital Systems for Drug Repackaging

Unit Dose Solutions Signs Five Hospital Systems for Drug Repackaging

Unit Dose Solutions Inc., a growing provider of outsourced drug repackaging services, today announced its agreement with Coastal Carolinas Health Alliance (CCHA), which includes New Hanover (N. C.) Regional Medical Center and Southeastern Regional Medical Center, among 12 other hospitals. Unit Dose Solutions will provide individual dose drug repackaging of oral solid and liquid medications for members of the CCHA, a non-profit healthcare organization consisting of 14 member hospitals located throughout North and South Carolina. This is the latest customer success story for Unit Dose Solutions, which has signed a string of hospitals and healthcare facilities in recent months.

MORRISVILLE, N. C. (PRWEB) April 10, 2007

"The healthcare spectrum relies on us for our 16-point quality control safety measures we use in delivering intelligent, bar-coded packaging designed so hospitals can provide individual patient dosages of medications," said Tim Boyd, chief operating officer of Unit Dose Solutions. "We serve hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living and other institutional pharmacies, and also receive tremendous interest from pharmaceutical manufacturers and their distributors here in the United States."

According to Jim Tripp, pharmacist at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, N. C., Unit Dose Solutions provides a critical service. "We place the highest level of importance on quality control when dispensing patient medication," said Tripp. "This helps our hospital improve tracking and patient safety while reducing costly pharmaceutical waste."

Unit Dose Solutions also was awarded contracts for individual dose/bar-coded drug repackaging by the pharmacy departments at St. Louis Children's Hospital in Missouri; St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla.; and Doctor's Hospital in Dallas.

The contracts call for Unit Dose Solutions to repackage the majority of the hospitals' bulk drug inventory into individual doses, each sealed with a bar code and human readable label information. The company's ability to customize package types, bar code formats, and labeling contents at the individual dose level greatly improves patient safety, enabling hospital staff to verify each patient receives the correct amount of the right medicine, every time.

Unit dose packaging with sophisticated, intelligent bar-coding is quickly becoming standard for hospital pharmacies. Unit Dose Solutions was founded out of this recognized need to improve patient safety within hospitals and long-term care facilities by reducing or eliminating errors in the administration of medicine to patients. The company serves as a trusted intermediary between hospital pharmacies that purchase most of their drug inventory from drug wholesalers.

Patient safety comes first at Unit Dose Solutions Inc., a pharmacy services outsourcing company based in Morrisville, N. C., with a second manufacturing facility in Harrison, N. J. The company's mission is to provide drug repackaging that improves tracking and patient safety in accordance with current good manufacturing practices. Unit Dose Solutions has customers that include UNC Health Care, Duke Medical Center, Coastal Carolinas Health Alliance, among many other acute care hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, long-term care hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare organizations. For more information, visit http://www. unitdoseinc. com (http://www. unitdoseinc. com).

Coastal Carolinas Health Alliance (http://www. coastalalliance. org (http://www. coastalalliance. org)) is a non-profit organization consisting of member hospitals located in southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina. The purpose of the Alliance is to provide a cooperative forum for improving the quality and delivery of healthcare to the citizens of the region.

Anger Coach Certifies Community Educators To Teach Emotional Skills to Youth

Anger Coach Certifies Community Educators To Teach Emotional Skills to Youth

The Anger Coach, a leader in anger management programs, announces a new one-of-a-kind certification program for community educators who work with children and adolescents at risk for current or future anger problems. According to Dr. Tony Fiore, clinical psychologist and owner of The Anger Coach company, anger control programs for youth are few and far between, yet should be an essential part of character and personal development of children, especially children at risk for later spousal abuse, community violence, workplace conflict or personal unhappiness due to poor emotional control.

Orange, California (PRWEB) December 26, 2008

The Anger Coach, a leader in anger management programs, announces a new certification program for community educators who work with children and adolescents at risk for current or future anger problems. According to Dr. Tony Fiore, clinical psychologist and owner of The Anger Coach, anger control programs for youth are few and far between, yet should be an essential part of character and personal development of children, especially children at risk for later spousal abuse, community violence, workplace conflict or personal unhappiness due to poor emotional control.

Tom Callos, martial arts leader, says: "Allow me to introduce you to a Master in a form of self-defense that, until now, has rarely (if ever) been taught on the mat or in the training hall. Dr Fiore's Certified Anger Management Educator online training program is one of a kind--anywhere in the world. It is a 20 hour certification program that gives you the knowledge and skills to teach anger management to your students or other members of the community."

Certification as an anger management educator allows community leaders to teach proven principals of anger control to community groups, professional groups, and school children. This might include public schools, private schools, martial arts programs, sports coaches, parenting classes, outreach programs, summer camp programs for children and adolescents, mental hygiene programs in schools, after school programs, gang prevention outreach programs, driver education programs, driver-court programs, training camps, workplace continuing education programs etc.

According to Fiore, just as you don't need to be a medical doctor to educate people on medical issues (such as smoking cessation, diabetes control or weight management), similarly you don't need to be a mental health professional to teach anger management skills. Similar to a marriage educator who teaches marriage or parenting skills, the anger educator teaches the skills needed to regulate emotions, to cope better with stress, and to resolve conflicts with others more effectively. Although many anger educators are also professionals, you don't need to be. The main requirement to be a anger educator is a strong interest in doing so and the ability to teach the core concepts effectively to others.

Dr Fiore, with colleague Dr. Ari Novick, has developed a unique model of anger management that has proven to be highly effective with adults and older teens. Called the "eight-tools model" of anger control, it has proven to be very easy to learn and to teach to others. This new certification program teaches educators how to apply the core material to youth as young as eight years old.

SnorEnder Proven Effective Snoring Relief: Used by Doctors Coast to Coast & US Troops in Iraq

SnorEnder Proven Effective Snoring Relief: Used by Doctors Coast to Coast & US Troops in Iraq

The new SnorEnder Pro is being used by doctors to help reduce their own snoring. They are also recommending it to patients who can pass the “Nose Test.” The new SnorEnder is also in use by members of the US Armed Forces in Iraq. Snoring in a combat zone may not be just a nighttime inconvenience. The noise made by a snoring soldier can even give away a unit’s position and bring on an enemy attack. The SnorEnder snoring relief solution (www. snorender. com) is an effective, comfortable and low-cost aid that can help reduce or even stop chronic, loud snoring in many adults.

Summit, NJ (PRWEB) April 21, 2005

The new, patent pending SnorEnder TM is a new and uniquely effective integration of three proven snoring reduction technologies. It combines innovative bio-mechanical mouth and jaw support (to keep the mouth gently and firmly closed during sleep), subtle acupressure stimulation for stress reduction and improved well-being, and powerful magnetic therapy used by millions of athletes and sports celebrities worldwide.

Used and Recommended by Doctors

The SnorEnder is now used by doctors from coast to coast to help reduce or even stop their own loud non-apnea snoring at night. Many are even recommending the SnorEnder to their patients. If the SnorEnder is good enough for doctors to use themselves and to recommend to patients who can breathe easily through their nose, shouldnÂ’t you try it?

The new SnorEnder is worn comfortably, much like a fighter pilotÂ’s helmet liner, while sleeping by frequent, heavy snorers and may reduce their loud open-mouth snoring by as much as 60-80% or more. The new SnorEnder comes in 3 inexpensive models. Proven effective in nightly use by chronic, habitual, loud snorers throughout the US, it is now available at www. snorender. com.

Used by Troops in Iraq

The SnorEnder is also being used by members of the US Armed Forces in Iraq. Because so many US troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan are members of Reserve units, the average age of Army, Marines, Navy, and Air Force personnel is older than other wars America has fought. Not just young men and women serve our country today. Many of our troops in combat areas are in their 30's, 40's and even 50's.

The older you are, the more likely you will snore, especially under stress. Snoring in your bed at home may keep your spouse awake at night, and make you tired in the morning. But in a stressful combat situation like Iraq or Afghanistan, snoring may cause other troops to lose needed sleep. And that can get them killed. For our troops serving in harm's way, the SnorEnder comes in desert tan.

Snoring has also been known to cause soldiers hiding in camouflaged positions to be discovered by the enemy. Attacks on our troops have happened because they were discovered by noises made in the night. If the SnorEnder is good enough for our troops in combat, donÂ’t you think it can help you reduce or even stop the snoring in your bedroom? More information is available at www. snorender. com.

Breakthrough Snoring Reduction Technology

Acupressure and magnetic therapy have been used throughout Asia for more than 2,000 years to increase general health and well-being. The result of more than 5 years of original research and development by the SnorEnder team, the SnorEnder technology is a breakthrough in snoring management and dependable relief. It is the only snoring relief system that integrates these two proven snoring reduction technologies with advanced bio-mechanical jaw and mouth support. The patent-pending SnorEnder is designed to more effectively reduce or even stop most loud snoring, even when other snoring aids may not have provided the relief you need.

Snoring Epidemic

According to many leading healthcare, sleep and snoring specialists, including the U. S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), open-mouth, non-apnea snoring may be responsible for as much as 85% of all loud nightly snoring in adults age 35 or older, an estimated 55-70 million Americans. Many snoring experts say that if you want to stop the snoring, find an effective way to keep the mouth closed during sleep. But until now, keeping the mouth closed during the typical snorerÂ’s restless sleep has been a real challenge. Some popular snoring relief aids available today offer an average success rate of just 25-50%, according to a number of snoring experts. Not intended to treat sleep apnea. For more information, visit us on the Web at www. snorender. com.

Breakthrough Snoring Relief Solution

The new SnorEnder TM is a uniquely effective snoring relief system, invented by a team of scientists, healthcare professionals, and business executives – all of them loud, habitual snorers. The SnorEnder is engineered to help reduce or even stop loud habitual, non-apnea snoring, and it can be particularly helpful when other anti-snoring devices may not offer the consistent relief that loud snorers and their sleep partners need and expect. The new SnorEnder is inexpensive, comfortable, and effective, and it can now be ordered online through www. snorender. com.

Boston's New Way to Help Homeless Women: 20 Organizations Will Use First-in-the-Nation Guidebook

Boston's New Way to Help Homeless Women: 20 Organizations Will Use First-in-the-Nation Guidebook

A first-in-the-nation guidebook now provides new steps to keep homeless women safe. Created by a pioneering Boston Alliance of 20 organizations convened by the Friends of the Shattuck Shelter, it addresses homelessness, violence/trauma and substance abuse as a single, connected challenge. The intent: to change the way Boston providers work with homeless women to enhance their safety, sobriety and over time, the ability to secure permanent housing. The Alliance will present the book to the city at a breakfast celebration on Monday, October 24. Reporters welcome; review copies available.

Jamaica Plain, MA (PRWEB) October 22, 2005

For the first time in the nation, a guidebook exists to help those who help homeless women to increase these women's chances for safety and to reduce their risks for assault on the streets.

WHY: According to Boston's most recent homeless census, the number of homeless women living on the streets is growing faster than that of all other groups. Violence from their partners and others, including sexual trauma, is a common thread that twists their lives from bad to worse. Moreover, physical and sexual assault deceases a homeless woman's likelihood of moving into permanent housing.

Enabling homeless women, often substance-dependent and traumatized, to plan for their own best interests sounds like a tall order. Any guidance needs the best wisdom and input from service providers and public agencies from the fields of domestic violence, sexual assault, addiction treatment, law enforcement, health care and homeless services. This new guidebook reflects the expertise of these providers and also the insight and voices of homeless women themselves.

WHO: The Women's Violence Prevention (WVP) Alliance, a pioneering coalition convened by Friends of the Shattuck Shelter and funded by Mellon New England/Alice P. Chase and Peter E. Strauss Trusts, brings together 20 such agencies to connect their services, identifying and addressing gaps. The intent: to change the way Boston providers work with homeless women to enhance their safety, sobriety and over time, the ability to secure permanent housing.

WVP searched the nation for a step-by-step guidebook that would help service providers, no matter their specialty, counsel homeless women on their many intermingled problems. No such book existed. Now it does. At the upcoming breakfast event, WVP will present to its members and civic officials the new Safety Planning Guide "Keeping Safe on the Streets," full of concrete, realistic suggestions to keep Boston women alive, healthier, safer, and a little less traumatized. It's not the solution, but it's a key first step. The Guide is designed to be easy to reprint and adopt in cities across the country.

WHEN: Monday, October 24, 2005, 8am-9:30am

WHERE: Boston Bar Association, 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

FEATURED SPEAKERS: Mary Nee, Executive Director, Friends of the Shattuck Shelter

Margot Hill, Deputy Superintendent of the Family Justice Division, Boston Police Department, Joanne Jaxtimer, First Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Mellon New England

MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Friends of the Shattuck Shelter can arrange for interviews with its staff, staff of WVP Alliance organizations, and Mellon New England. We'll be glad to send you a review copy of the Safety Planning Guide; please contact us!

ABOUT FRIENDS OF THE SHATTUCK SHELTER: Friends of the Shattuck Shelter (the Friends) end homelessness, one person at a time, by providing programs and services that help men and women achieve self-sufficiency and secure permanent housing. The Friends serve more than 4,500 people each year, in Boston and across Massachusetts. Nutritional Supplement Company Releases a New Product Package that Helps Prevent Cancer by Reducing Chronic Low-Grade Inflammation

Nutritional Supplement Company Releases a New Product Package that Helps Prevent Cancer by Reducing Chronic Low-Grade Inflammation

Dr. Vijaya Nair of Jiva Supplements has released a new combination pack of products and informational material that will help prevent cancer by reducing chronic low-grade inflammation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Mount Kisco, NY (Vocus) October 10, 2009

As a result of today’s research, Dr. Vijaya Nair has developed natural nutritional supplements that help maintain optimal health and prevent cancer caused by chronic low-grade inflammation. In celebration of breast cancer awareness month Dr. Nair created a new Jiva Supplement combination pack containing powerful and informational material that helps consumers prevent cancer.

Chances are someone you know has been affected by breast cancer in their lifetime. According to the National Cancer Institute, an estimated 192,370 new cases of breast cancer in females will be diagnosed in American women this year, including over 40,000 deaths. Breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer in American women. Doctors recommend regular self-breast exams starting at age 20 and yearly mammograms starting at age 40.

Cancer prevention includes action that can be taken to reduce the change of getting cancer. Some risk factors for cancer can be avoided, but some cannot. Known preventative actions for breast cancer that can be taken include not smoking as well as changing lifestyle and eating habits.

No one wants to get cancer. There's something indescribably awful about knowing your cells are multiplying out of control and feeling helpless to do anything about it. The conventional treatments for cancer are downright toxic. They don't distinguish between cancer cells and healthy cells - they just kill them all. One of Dr. Vijaya Nair's goals has been to help cancer patients fight their best fight against the disease, and she did just that when she addressed The 37th Annual Cancer Convention, making the audience aware that research has shown that all cancer has been linked to inflammation, meaning that cancer doesn't just strike out of nowhere and it is preventable.

“I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in December, 2008 and Dr. Vijaya Nair’s Jiva Supplements were instrumental in helping me overcome it." says Laura, a consumer of Jiva Supplements. "The Curcumin, Fermented Soy and Green Tea Capsules were part of my protocol under the direction of my nutritionist. I discovered my cancer was completely reversed when I received a clean scan at the end of June, 2009. I feel wonderful!”

“What is very exciting is that today’s research has shown that the underlying cause of cancer, heart disease and arthritis is chronic low grade levels of inflammation in your body. The best way I explain this when you have a splinter or a cut on your body, the skin around your injury becomes inflamed. That is short term inflammation and it crucial to helping your body to heal itself. Chronic inflammation can also happen inside your body too, but it eats away at your blood vessels, your digestive track, your brain, your joints and the inner structures of your eyes. This inflammation is bad, because it causes stress on your body and leads to cancer, heart disease, arthritis and Alzheimer’s disease.” states Dr. Vijaya Nair author of the bestselling book, 'Prevent Cancer, Strokes, Heart Attacks and Other Deadly Killers', Founder/CEO of Essence of Life and host of the radio show "Kiss Your Life Hello". ( http://www. kissyourlifehello. com (http://www. kissyourlifehello. com))

Jiva Supplement’s new Jiva-Pack, available online at http://www. jivasupplements. org/JIVApacks. php (http://www. jivasupplements. org/JIVApacks. php), is called Help Prevent Cancer: Reducing Chronic Inflammation. It includes Jiva’s Fermented Soy and Curcumin Nutritional Beverage, Jiva’s Curcumin and Fermented Soy Plus Capsules, Dr. Nair’s Book, 'Prevent Cancer, Strokes, Heart Attacks, and Other Deadly Killers', and Dr. Nair’s DVD of her lecture at the 37th Annual Cancer Convention.
