Houston colorectal surgeon Dr. Eric Haas has been named to the TopDocs List for 2009 by "H Texas Magazine". Dr. Haas serves as the program director of Minimally Invasive Colon and Rectal Surgery at The University of Texas at Houston and is nationally known as an expert in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for colorectal diseases.
Dr. Haas' main office is located in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, a world-renowned healthcare site with 47 medical institutions including leading hospitals and medical groups. He is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Haas, an experienced colorectal surgeon, is recognized nationally as an expert in advanced laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of colon cancer as well as benign diseases such as diverticulitis, polyps, inflammatory bowel disease and rectal prolapse.
