AWARD-winning UK celebrity chef, Paul Da-Costa-Greaves who is also a spiritual healer and chocolate therapist has created a new festive chocolate sensation called 'Fruity' bar which has a Jamaican twist. The luxury chocolate was inspired by Paul's Aunt Merva, who is renowned for the Christmas puddings she makes at her home on the Caribbean island.

Master Chef Paul, who owns the acclaimed Galley Fish and Seafood Restaurant in Topsham, Devon said: "Aunt Merva's puddings are famous but she guards the recipe closely and it took a great deal of persuasion and a bit of rum to win her over. "Last Christmas I combined a little pudding with chocolate and it was heaven. It has then taken a year to finish off the recipe and perfect this plum pudding style 100g chocolate bar."

Hand-made, from the finest Belgium organic milk chocolate, 'Fruity' is a gently-spiced festive treat of sultanas, currants, raisins, mixed peel and honey plus a generous helping of Guinness and brandy, making it a perfect seasonal present for chocolate connoisseurs. 'Fruity' is one of a range of 11 luxury bars in Paul's unique range that helps support communities on Ghanaian Cocoa plantations.

While Paul's Aunt inspired 'Fruity' the rest of the therapeutic range was a result of Paul's other passion, his complementary therapy practice. With alluring names like 'Seductive', 'Dreamy' and 'Fantastic', each Belgium Cocoa bar is blended with essential aromatherapy oils that Paul believes are an indulgent way to enhance your mood. A few therapeutic squares of 'Fantastic' organic milk chocolate with ginger, black pepper and grapefruit could rev up your energy levels better than an espresso.

Then there's 'Beautiful'; an organic white chocolate with uplifting Bergamot oils and warming cinnamon (won Gold at Great Taste Awards) or Gorgeous; an organic dark chocolate, sweet orange, mixed spice and rose petal (won Silver at Taste of the West Awards) and 'Sexy'; organic milk chocolate with an after hit of chilli (Bronze at Taste of the West Awards), while 'Dreamy'; organic milk chocolate, lemon and geranium rose should float you to bed.

Paul aged 40, said: "I love the taste of chocolate and it's scientifically proven to release feel-good endorphins in the brain as well as aiding heart health. But I wanted to go a stage further and create a grown-up, ethical and luxurious brand with therapeutic qualities. I use my complementary training to invent combinations and I'm delighted they've won so many awards".

The range of Feeding Your Imagination organic Belgium chocolate bars cost £3.99 and can be purchased online or via approved stockists.
