TeraMedica Healthcare Technology, a leading medical informatics company, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Medical Insight to complete the revolutionary Evercore® – Clinical Enterprise Suite software by adding easy to deploy diagnostic capability across the healthcare enterprise.

Evercore®, TeraMedica’s flagship product, can manage up to 85 percent of a healthcare provider’s clinical data, regardless of the size of the facility, and is used by leading providers across the U. S., including Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson Cancer Center of the University of Texas, and University of California Davis.

“This partnership enhances our Univision Zero Download Enterprise Web viewer by providing an enterprise scale fully featured clinical diagnostic viewer, delivering a single pane of glass and a unique and collaborative clinical approach, delivering a comprehensive enterprise view of clinical care,” said Jim Prekop, president and chief executive officer of TeraMedica. “Through this relationship, we are reinforcing our commitment to improving patient care, reducing healthcare costs and strengthening physician acceptance in the new patient-centered electronic medical record domain.”

The strategic agreement allows Medical Insight to reach a new audience in the United States.

“At Medical Insight, we see this relationship with TeraMedica as key to our U. S. market entry strategy,” said Andy Dobbs, co-founder of Medical Insight.

The Evercore® software platform allows healthcare providers to consolidate information in the form of a vendor neutral architecture with seamless links to Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Imaging and Information Exchanges (HIEs) increasing efficiency and allowing healthcare personnel access to decades of information in one click, which is an invaluable feature in case of a medical emergency.

“As with all facets of TeraMedica, this partnership has been created due to customer and market demand,” Prekop said. “The goal is to create an environment for healthcare practitioners to work more efficiently across providers and deliver true interoperability. Together we deliver a clinician-friendly multi-disciplinary care record that supports all clinical specialties and offers a complete solution for collaborative care.”

TeraMedica was awarded a patent for Evercore® last September, and continues to provide efficient solutions and improvements to clinical data management enterprise-wide.
