Civil Jury Agrees with JZ Knight in 'JZK, Inc. Versus Whitewind Weaver'
Thurston County Superior Court jury awards damages to JZK, Inc.

JZ Knight, renowned channel and founder of Ramtha's School of Enlightenment (RSE) (www. ramtha. com), The Original School of Consciousness and Energy, based in Yelm, Washington, and JZK, Inc. are pleased that a civil jury in the case of 'JZK, Inc. versus Whitewind Weaver, et al' agreed that Whitewind Weaver, founder of Art of Life Coaching, Inc., used RSE's information and techniques in breach of her promise not to do so without permission.
The Thurston County Superior Court found RSE's Conditions of Participation agreement to be a valid and enforceable contract. That agreement is signed by beginning RSE students and says in part that the student agrees not to teach or otherwise disseminate information and techniques learned at RSE without written permission from the school. The jury also agreed that Art of Life Coaching, Inc. interfered with that contract. As a result, the jury awarded as damages to JZK, Inc. the $10,388 in revenue that ALC received for their August 2006 workshop where the breaches took place.
From 1994 through 2004 the record of Ms. Whitewind Weaver's audio, video and print material showed a consistent pattern of information, experiential activities and teaching methodologies that typically characterized her model of Spherical Reality and Art of Life Coaching events. That pattern began to change in 2005.
In January 2005 Ms. Weaver and her associates from ALC began attending Ramtha's School of Enlightenment, ostensibly as students studying together under a new teacher, and attended nearly every progressive event offered by RSE in Yelm, WA for 18 months.
Rather than wait for an invitation to teach at RSE or actively seek permission to use RSE's information and techniques, Ms. Weaver and her associates began to infuse RSE vocabulary, activities and teaching methods into their courses, apparently as early as March 2005 and culminating most obviously at the Health, Wealth and Wisdom workshop in August 2006.
Over the last 30 years that JZ Knight has been channeling Ramtha, she has been on a tremendous journey. Ramtha has taught over 100,000 people in over 60 nations. JZ Knight has met with world leaders and spoken to the United Nations. She has had to defend herself and Ramtha's teachings from many who wish to profit from her celebrity. This was the first time she has had to rely on a lawsuit against a student of RSE to preserve the integrity of the school's teachings. JZ Knight and JZK, Inc. are pleased that the jury was able to set aside any preconceived notions about the case and give all parties a fair hearing.
