MOAA Virtual Career Fair

Milicruit and MOAA will bring the career fair to those employers and veterans who are unable to attend the in person MOAACorporate Gray career fair in Washington, D. C.

Doylestown, PA (Vocus) September 3, 2010

Milicruit - The recognized leader for virtual career fairs for veterans, announces a partnership with Military Officers Association of America to deliver the MOAA Virtual Career Fair which will bring industry leading employers and veteran job seekers together in a 3 dimensional online environment. The virtual career fair will open on November 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM EST. and will be available on demand for the following week.

“Helping veterans find meaningful work is a top priority for the nation, and MOAA is doing all it can to help. We currently do a great job for officers, senior NCOs, and other enlisted personnel who attend our MOAA/Corporate Gray career fairs and transition briefings at military installations around the country. The MOAA Virtual Career Fair will enhance our efforts to support all veterans and spouses in transition, and will showcase dozens of industry leading employers.” Vice Adm. Norb Ryan Jr. USN-Ret.

Through the fully interactive, 3 dimensional environment, Milicruit and MOAA will be able to bring the career fair to the employer and veteran. The virtual career fair will allow veterans in attendance to visit employer booths, view/apply for jobs, upload resumes, chat with recruiters, network with peers, and video interview, all from the comfort and convenience of home.

“The Milicruit platform has in such a short time proven to be a very cost effective and environmentally friendly way to bring employers and veterans together, and we are happy to build on that with the MOAA partnership. As a complement to the MOAA/Corporate Gray live career fairs for veterans, the Milicruit event will allow those veterans unable to attend the live career fair an opportunity to still meet and interact with employers as if in person” Says Kevin O’Brien, v. p. business development UBM Studios

Employers interested in participating in this groundbreaking event should call or email to arrange a demonstration.
