BlueCielo Aids Mexican Non-Profit Clinic
BlueCielo renovates clinical facilities and donates US$10,000 to Angel Notion, a charitable organization offering health services to residents in Quintana Roo and the Yucatán Peninsula

BlueCielo ECM Solutions, a leading global software company offering Engineering Content Management (ECM) solutions, has helped to transform Angel Notion, a non-profit clinic based in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, with key refurbishments and technological improvements - an act which BlueCielo sees as part of its social responsibility and an opportunity to benefit the local community.
Angel Notion required aid in improving its facilities and BlueCielo was happy to offer a hundred pairs of helping hands. BlueCielo employees worked cheerily in the heat to give the clinic a much-needed transformation by painting the exterior of the building and the roof, and creating new gardens for herbal medicines, fruits and vegetables. Comfortable seating areas for patients were also created in the gardens as restful spaces.
The clinic's interior had a makeover as well by having its lights, windows and sunscreens cleaned and fixed. Some employees were able to apply their IT skills in the networking of the clinic's computer system and the connection of all the computers to the printers. In addition, wireless internet was set up throughout the clinic, the Nintendo Wii was set up to enable therapy sessions and a television set connected to the internet to screen medical programs.
BlueCielo's worldwide employees were assembled in Mexico in January for the company's first global corporate gathering in celebration of its substantial growth over the past year. "BlueCielo sees it as a social responsibility to support initiatives that contribute to home and life conditions and good medical care in developing countries. This first global team event was a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the community," comments Martijn Janmaat, BlueCielo's CEO.
As a further gesture of support, BlueCielo has decided to make a financial contribution of US$10,000 to help fund the opening of a new Angel Notion clinic.

Angel Notion has been serving people at their local clinic since 1999, offering alternative health care and medical care. To date, the organization has helped 100,000 people who reside in the state of Quintana Roo and the Yucatán Peninsula in such diverse ways as providing hearing aids for the deaf, prosthetic limbs for amputees, physiotherapy and physiatry, in conjunction with traditional Mayan alternatives such as homeopathic and holistic medicines.
