Magenta Research Proud Sponsor of Screen USA Event, “Getting Creative with DOOH”
A Guide to Planning, Creating and Executing the Perfect Digital-Out-of-Home Campaign.
New Milford, CT (PRWEB) September 30, 2010
The Screen Forum USA recently joined up with global creative agency Ogilvy & Mather for a special morning briefing on the topic of planning, creating and executing the perfect digital out-of-home campaign, “Getting Creative with DOOH”. Magenta Research is a proud sponsor of The Screen USA Breakfast Briefing Series, which provides an exciting opportunity for professionals in the digital signage industry to meet colleagues and network whilst hearing first hand from key executives from the digital out-of-home advertising sector.
The ‘Getting Creative With DOOH’ event was held at Ogilvy’s Manhattan headquarters in New York on the morning of the 21st September 2010, and showcased how major digital out-of-home campaigns are conceived, measured and executed. It also offered attendees a unique opportunity to take a guided tour through Ogilvy’s on-site Digital Innovation Lab. Designed to educate and inspire - the Lab serves to demonstrate how digital services can combine across multiple media to deliver uniquely creative campaigns. Particularly relevant to the digital signage industry, the Lab positions digital out-of-home as a key building block around which other digital channels, mobile and interactivity can all work to enhance media value.
Hosted by John Boese, Associate Director, Digital Innovation at Ogilvy New York - the morning event showcased how two of this year's most exciting digital out-of-home campaigns were conceived, measured and executed. This invaluable insight into the entirety of a digital signage campaign brought together the media agency, the creative team and the digital out-of-home network owner behind IBM's interactive campaign in JFK and NIKE's realtime World Cup campaign across 400 DOOH sites in the UK.
An informal meeting with brief presentations, the session provided invaluable insight into the creative process and offered an opportunity to network and discuss the opportunities raised. Renowned for their quality speakers, quality discussion and quality refreshments, these determinedly 'sales free', media friendly and informal events make for a perfect learning and networking environment. The Screen USA looks forward to hosting similar events throughout the US that center around a comprehensive agenda designed to draw in guests from all aspects of this rapidly evolving medium - sharing experience, knowledge and expertise.
