West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) December 9, 2005

Steve Hatch, President and CEO of PC Training Institute, Inc. announced today, the retirement of James A. VanDerWoude, Senior Account Executive.

Mr. VanDerWoude, a disabled Vietnam War veteran, retired due to increasing health complications. During his time with CompTEC, James specialized in helping veterans utilize their Montgomery GI Bill benefits and a grant available from GIBillTraining. com to cover 100% of their tuition expenses for Microsoft (MCSE MCSD. NET MCDBA, etc.) and Cisco ( CCNA CCNP) certification training needed to improve their career paths.

Mr. Hatch noted that James contribution to the organization will be missed by staff and the many clients James assisted – particularly veterans. Because James was both a Veteran and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, his insight into helping other veterans with IT Career planning was invaluable. CompTEC is interviewing to fill the recently vacated position but any replacement will have a hard time filling James’ shoes. PC Training Institute Inc. has been delivering computer career skills training in Palm Beach County since 1995. In 2003, the organization began offering accelerated “boot camp” style training to veterans and active duty personnel around the world, through www. gibilltraining. com. “James VanDerWoude was a great asset in PC Training’s goal to reach out to veterans. We will continue to do everything we can reach out to veterans and help them realize their career training goals.” Mr. Hatch, who is a veteran himself, said.
