American Kidney Fund Receives 7th Consecutive 4-Star Rating from Charity Navigator
The American Kidney Fund has received its 7th consecutive 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America's largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities. The designation is its "highest, 4-star" evaluation for sound fiscal management.

The American Kidney Fund has received its 7th consecutive 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America's largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities. The designation is its "highest, 4-star" evaluation for sound fiscal management.
Charity Navigator evaluates about 5,000 charities in the United States. "Only 2% of the charities we rate have received at least 7 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that American Kidney Fund consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America," said Ken Berger, Charity Navigator's president & CEO.
Charity Navigator rates charities based on organizational efficiency and organizational capacity, using a set of financial ratios or performance categories to rate these two areas. The overall rating is a reflection of the charity's performance in both areas. Ratings show how efficiently Charity Navigator believes a charity will use donors' support today, and to what extent a charity is growing its programs and services over time.
