January 2 is National Motivation & Inspiration Day

January 2 is National Motivation & Inspiration Day

January 2nd is National Motivation & Inspiration Day. This day has been established to increase awareness of why goal-setting and following through on those New Year's Resolutions are important to our healthand well being.

Long Island, NY (PRWEB) January 2, 2006

On Dec. 18, 2001, the United States Congress passed Resolution H. R. Res. 308 (hyperlink below) acknowledging January 2nd as National Motivation & Inspiration Day. The intent of the day is to bring motivation and inspiration “top of mind” with the American public and eventually establish a curriculum for high school and college students that will focus on the importance of goal-setting, personal performance and achievement.

As importantly, if not more important, than national holidays like, Arbor Day or even Valentine’s Day; National Motivation & Inspiration Day asks people, especially young adults to set goals for themselves and apply their efforts toward the completion of those personal goals. Many people establish “New Year’s Resolutions” and most fail to successfully attain those goals. This is why National Motivation & Inspiration Day was established on January 2nd, the day after New Year’s Day.

President of Motivate America and Founder of National Motivation & Inspiration Day, Kevin L. McCrudden stated, "This is such a difficult time for America; our corporate, financial, religious and political leaders are in question of wrongdoing regularly and Americans need to gain more control of their lives. The mission of National Motivation & Inspiration Day is not to "sell" anything, however, to redirect America during this troubling time of war and social uncertainty. A grass-roots movement to increase our social consciousness and commitment to being more tomorrow than we are today.".

For More Information please feel free to contact Mr. McCrudden. He is available for interviews on the 1st and 2nd of January.
