MINDBODY's roots go back to 1998, when it was the first software consulting firm developing easy-to-use client and teacher management solutions for yoga, pilates, and spinning studios. In 2001, the company became an LLC, took the business name MindBody Software, hired its first employees and released the first hosted data synchronization service designed for small businesses.
