New Speakers Added to Secure Documents 2010 Program

Pira International is pleased to announce the addition of four top industry experts to the Secure Documents 2010 conference agenda. The conference, which is set to take place on April 28 – 30, 2010 at the Renaissance Washington DC Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington, DC, will now include presentations from the following speakers:

The program will also include presentations from the principal government agencies across the world, such as Interpol, Europol, the Department of Homeland Security, the Identity and Passport Service Office from the UK, the US Department of Defense, the US Government Printing Office and the Federal Trade Commission. Each of these organizations will address what they are doing to provide security while respecting civilian privacy. “We are very much looking forward to a program that addresses security in a global sense, while also addressing the significant issue of individual privacy,” says Barbara Rojas of Pira International.

The conference program will be divided into four sessions covering border and transport security; developments in technology and applications for ID s and Smart Cards; global protection of security and privacy issues; and developments in banknotes and currency and innovations in existing technologies.

The event will also feature a pre-conference seminar entitled “Elements of Compliant Information Destruction Policies and Procedures.” This 3 hour seminar will be led by Robert Johnson, Executive Director of the National Association for Information Destruction.
