Shattered Investor Confidence Leads The Hayes Law Firm To Prepare For Bear Market
Volatility in the stock market has crushed investor confidence. Confidence has been replaced with anxiety. Investor losses are right around the corner. The Hayes Law Firm is gearing up to handle the anticipated demand.
Houston, TX (PRWEB) September 1, 2007
Volatility in the stock market is taking a toll on investors. A new national survey conducted by FINRA (formerly NASD) shows American investors have significant and widespread anxiety about the security of their retirement savings. FINRA reports that more than 78% of investors are anxious about losing money on their investments. Only serious health problems were ranked above investment concerns.
The FINRA survey also found that the majority of investors are anxious about being defrauded. "Although one in 12 investors reported losing money in an investment because they were mislead or defrauded, only a small number of these investors reported the fraudulent activities."
The Hayes Law Firm encourages investors to report broker fraud and to seek damages. "There are several reasons investors don't report fraud. Most people have no idea that they can recover their stock market losses from the brokerage firm and/or broker. Others are embarrassed and blame themselves. We are reaching out to investors to educate them," said Debra Brewer Hayes of The Hayes Law Firm. "Little, if any, losses occur when a portfolio is properly invested. Investors do have rights. They should exercise them more often."
The Hayes Law focuses its practice entirely on representing investors who lost money in the stock market. The Firm handled hundreds of cases for investors who lost money in the "tech wreck" in 2001. Now the Firm is gearing up for the anticipated onslaught of new cases. For more information, please visit our Web site at www. dhayeslaw. com.
