Healing Beyond Hope: Cancer Survivor Says We Need to Heal Our Hearts to Get to The Root of Illness
A two-time colon cancer survivor and author of Healing Through Love launches national Healing Beyond Hope campaign to raise $1M for individuals experiencing cancer without health insurance as she did. She reaches out to all people who have experienced illness or trauma to share her discovery that while we need to heal our bodies through all available means, we need to heal our hearts in order to get to the root of the illness and understand we hold the power to heal fully. Her story of overcoming cancer twice, personal bankruptcy and divorce create a compelling backdrop as she shares valuable tools individuals can use immediately to heal their hearts, lives and bodies.

Healing Arts Publishing Media Release; Cancer Survivor Says Patients Need More Than Hope to Heal.
Cancer doesnÂt choose a special day. Compelled by the hundreds of thousands of individuals and families facing cancer each year, author of Healing Through Love and two-time cancer survivor, Marilyn Innerfeld, launches her ÂHealing Beyond Hope campaign with the September, 2004 publication of her book.
Innerfeld knows first hand what it feels like to have a doctor yell in your face, Âyou have cancer! She can empathize with other cancer patients and how they cling to hope in the face of fear. She knows the pain of watching others in chemotherapy lose their hair and some even pass on. Even though her body recovered from illness, she realized that living with hope was actually robbing her of living fully.
ÂWhile chemo keeps patients alive, it offers them only hope. It doesnÂt reach the root of the illness, says Innerfeld. ÂPatients need to understand the power they have to choose full healing. Patients can choose to partner with their illness  even cancer  and not be paralyzed by it.Â
Innerfeld is now taking her message on the road, visiting cancer support groups and conducting workshops on smart health decisions in cities around the country. To raise money to support cancer patients without health insurance (an experience she lived through), Innerfeld has committed to raise $1M by donating $1 for every Healing Through Love book sold on her website. She also shares 10 Tools to Heal Beyond Hope on her website www. HealingBeyondHope. com.
Five years ago, Innerfeld co-founded the Worldwide Center in Evergreen, Colo., a business providing personal growth workshops, services and products. Her book, Healing Through Love (ISBN: 0-9711522-1-7, Healing Arts Publishing, September 2004, $15.95), chronicles her story of cancer survival as well as stories of many clients who faced powerful choices in order to heal.
Innerfeld shares 10 Tools to Heal Beyond Hope, which include:
ÂCELEBRATE your life, donÂt mourn it!
ÂTRUST your body and stop feeling that it betrayed you.
ÂPARTNER with your illness. DonÂt become paralyzed by it.
ÂLEARN to love you! Choose to experience joy.
