Following last yearÂ’s sell out event, Detroit Lions starting quarterback and University of Oregon legend, Joey Harrington, brings his 3rd Annual Harrington Foundation Benefit Concert to the intimate outdoor setting of the Rose Quarter Commons on Thursday, June 23, 2005.

(PRWEB) June 14, 2005

Blues Traveler's frontman, John Popper, and guitarist Chan Kinchla, have agreed to join the entertainment for the Third Annual Harrington Family Foundation Benefit Concert to be held on June 23, 2005 at Portland's Rose Quarter Commons.

Harrington said ”Fans may remember John and Chan from our first Benefit concert performance, and we're really looking forward to jamming together again this year!.”

While best known for brilliant musicianship and prolific touring, witty and engaging songwriting has always been Blues TravelerÂ’s calling card (the Grammy winning single "Run Around" still holds the record for longest-charting single ever in the history of the Billboard charts). Blues TravelerÂ’s uncanny connection with their huge grassroots fan base has made them one of the most consistently successful bands of the past 15 years. Including their worldwide breakout "four," certified six-times platinum in the U. S., the band has had a total of six gold or platinum releases and sales of over 10 million albums to date.

John Heithaus, TAOW's Managing Partner, says "Portland is known for great live shows by the best of the best in the music business. This yearÂ’s HFF Benefit Concert is no exception. A great time will be had by all!"

Tickets are available at Fred Meyer Ticketmaster outlets, other Ticketmaster locations and the Rose Quarter box office. They are $20 in advance and $25 day of show. Harrington Foundation merchandise will also be made available. Doors open at 6PM, the rain or shine show starts at 7PM.

This year's sponsors include: Fred Meyer stores, Starbucks Coffee Company, Kink 102, Nike, Director's Mortgage, University of Oregon, the Detroit Lions, Mccormick and Schmick's, Nautilus, Inc. and Widmer Brothers Brewing Company.
