Advance’s EcoFlex System Cleaning Technology Entered into ISSA Innovation Award Program

Advance has entered its EcoFlex™ System floor-scrubber technology into ISSA’s 2010 Innovation Award Program. The award program recognizes the most innovative products and services as voted on by cleaning industry professionals.
The ISSA Innovation Award Program will name a winner in each of the five categories of cleaning products and services for this year’s contest -- chemicals; paper/plastics; power equipment; services, technology and other products; and supplies/accessories. Advance’s EcoFlex System is entered in the “power equipment” category. Voting opened on July 15, 2010, and will close on September 30, 2010, with winners announced during the first week of October.
The EcoFlex System is a technology for automatic floor scrubbers that puts equal emphasis on “clean” and “green,” that is, cleaning to meet high standards for cleanliness and cleaning with minimum environmental impact. “The EcoFlex System is the most flexible cleaning innovation to come along in years,” says Jill Kohls, Marketing Programs Manager for Advance. “There are a lot of strong entries in this year’s Innovation Award Program, but we’re confident the EcoFlex System is the best solution for helping cleaning professionals do their jobs well and with less -- less water, fewer chemicals and less energy use, which in turn reduces environmental and health impacts, as well as the cost to clean.”
