The First Four Hours of In-home Care are Free for Private Pay Customers of Visiting Angels-Detroit

Visiting Angels-Detroit is offering four hours of free non-medical, in-home care to first-time customers of its elder care services, now through August 31, 2010

Detroit, MI (PRWEB) July 6, 2010

The Visiting Angels franchise in Detroit announced that new, private pay customers of its in-home care services are eligible to receive the first four hours of care free of charge. The Summer Home Care promotion starts today and ends August 31, 2010.

“Summer Home Care offers substantial savings to Detroit-area residents who need professional help caring for their loved ones at home,” said Joyce K. Stallings, Director of Services for Visiting Angels-Detroit, (www. visitingangels. com/detroit (http://www. visitingangels. com/detroit)).

“We think this is great way to introduce our living assistance services to local residents who want to remain in their homes rather than enter a nursing home or similar facility,” Stallings said.

Information about the program (including requirements and restrictions) is available by calling the Visiting Angels-Detroit office, 313-272-9401, located at 11000 W. McNicols, Suite 217, Detroit, MI, 48221.

Visiting Angels-Detroit is supporting the Summer Home Care promotion with a new print campaign in two Detroit publications, B. L.A. C. magazine and The Michigan Chronicle, Detroit’s African-American weekly newspaper. The new headline for the print ads is, “Relax. In-home care is our calling.”

“People who need in-home care for themselves or a loved one are sometimes hesitant to hire a person they don’t know to come into their homes,” Stallings said. “Our new print ad is about instilling trust. We want prospective clients to rest assured that caring for people in need is not just our business; it is a personal calling for me and for all of my trained and experienced caregivers."

A coupon for Summer Home Care is available with the July issue of “Home Care Detroit,” a new monthly newsletter created by Visiting Angels-Detroit using Constant Contact, the email marketing service. “Home Care Detroit” is free. It contains news, information and advice about health-related issues. To receive the newsletter call 313-272-9401.

The “Home Care Detroit” newsletter is supported by five health care industry agencies that have formed a partnership with Visiting Angels-Detroit. They are:
