Cosella-Dörken Products Inc. Announces New Vice President
Building products manufacturer Cosella-Dörken appoints Marcus Jablonka as Vice President, R& D and Production, in preparation for the launch of new building technology.

Marcus Jablonka has been promoted to Vice President, R&D and Production at Cosella-Dörken Products Inc. In his new position, he will be responsible for the introduction of advanced new building products and technologies developed by Cosella-Dörken, Beamsville, ON, and Dörken, Germany. Products soon to be launched include a new family of house armour/weatherization products; energy-saving breathable and non-breathable roof underlayments with heat-reflective coatings; and non-energy consuming phase-changing materials for passive climate control (cooling and heating) in residential and commercial construction.
According to Tom Fallon, Vice President Marketing, "our company anticipated the need for environmental, energy-saving building products with an intensive research and development program that is now yielding results. Marcus is particularly well qualified to oversee the introduction of these new technologies for healthier, better-built homes and buildings."
A mechanical engineer and specialist in plastics technology, Marcus also has a degree in business administration. As Head of Engineering at Cosella-Dörken Products, he led the team that spearheaded the development and testing of DELTA®-DRY, Cosella-Dörken's award-winning new house wrap developed specifically for North American markets and launched in summer 2006.
Prior to joining Cosella-Dörken in 1999 as plant manager, Marcus worked for Borealis and BASF. He is a member of the Building Envelope Council of Ontario, and the ASTM E06 Committee on the Performance of Buildings.
