Interactive Palette is very proud to announce that it is the recipient of the 2004 Business Showcase Award for “Small Business of the Year”. Kelly Raskauskas, the Director of The Business Showcase, presented the award at the kick-off breakfast on March 18 th, which featured keynote speaker Barbara Berke. Interactive Palette received this award because “of their ability to mix cutting-edge technology with an artist’s eye and excellent customer service”.

Kevin McNally, President of Interactive Palette, summed it all up by saying; “I am honored to receive this award, especially when I have worked my 16 th hour for the day because I am the CEO, Controller, Admin. Assistant, and garbage collector – the joys of being a small business owner. Honestly, this is such a thrill because we have worked so hard, doubling our business last year we are on track to do it again this year. It feels wonderful to be acknowledged for all of the hard work it takes to keep a business going, my goal and the goal of my company is to continue offering excellent website design and development services while providing our customers first-rate, personalized attention.”

The Business Showcase, which was developed by The Business Journal of Southeastern Massachusetts (www. thebizjournal. com) featured exhibitors and attendees from Bristol and Plymouth Counties, Greater Boston, Cape Cod, Rhode Island and Metro West. It was the first region wide B2B event for Southeastern Massachusetts and not only did the Business Showcase offer an opportunity for businesses to network, but they also featured 36 business development seminars. Kevin McNally was asked to lead one of the seminars on “Establishing Your On-Line Presence”, which he was more than happy to undertake.

The Business Showcase was a great success and will continue to bring Southeastern Massachusetts businesses opportunities to continue their networking efforts. Beginning in April 2004, they will be offering an alternating monthly series of structured networking events and business development seminars.
