Xlibris Releases Elephants and Me versus PTSD

New book tells of a woman who confronts her past to strengthen her faith.

Bentonville, AR (Vocus) October 6, 2010

Xlibris, the self-publishing services provider, announced today the release of Elephants and Me versus PTSD. In this book, author Rhonda Boldra pens a story of a woman who confronts herself amidst life’s trials.

In this book, readers will meet Suzy Conner, a woman who was losing all hope and faith in God. Throwing her camping gear in the trunk of her car, she drove until the car was out of gas to a forest path in Tennessee where she found a deer that guided her way. This is Suzy’s story of coming back confronting herself, the past trials, tribulations, and her own faith in God.

In this book, readers will witness how Susan realized that it was faith which fed her tidbits of information and knowledge over the last fifty years, so she would have the wisdom to keep her sanity and not lose it this time like she did when she was a child.

Elephants and Me versus PTSD will be featured at this year’s New York Library Association Book Exhibit in Saratoga Springs, NY on November 2-5, 2010. For more information, log on to Xlibris. com.

About the Author
Rhonda Boldra lives in northwest Arkansas in a 150-year-old farmhouse with her husband Larry. Together, they raised three terrific sons. In the twenty-seven years they have been together, the author and her husband have helped each other combat many obstacles. One of the major obstacles they combated side by side brought about this book titled Elephants and Me versus PTSD. This book is based on truth.

Boldra is fifty-seven years young but sometimes feels as old as the house she lives in. Times are hard for them, so they plant vegetables and herbs in the garden. She was diagnosed with MS at age eighteen and years later with osteoporosis. Her husband is now on his second pacemaker/defibrillator. On December 16, 2009, she finally quit smoking for the sake of her health and her husband’s.
