Charities Receive $6,000 from Bingo With A Twist Fundraiser
QueerHumboldt. org announces that donations of $2,983 to the Humboldt Community Breast Health Project and another $2,983 to the Humboldt County AIDS Task Force have been made as a result of the recent Bingo With A Twist fundraiser.

QueerHumboldt. org announces that donations of $2,983 to the Humboldt Community Breast Health Project and another $2,983 to the Humboldt County AIDS Task Force have been made as a result of the recent Bingo With A Twist fundraiser.
Bingo With A Twist was presented by QueerHumboldt. org and hosted by the Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (www. rrsisters. org), a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization. The event was a night filled with comedy, prizes, a silent auction, and community fundraising.
"We are so excited that our first fundraiser exceeded our expectations. We had only planned on raising about $4,000, but when all was said and done, the evening with a sold out crowd of 230 attendees, raised $6,000 to be split amongst the two charities," said Todd Larsen, co-coordinator and Proprietor of QueerHumboldt. org.
Checks were presented to the two charities this past week.
