Chamber's Business Market Show 2009 Begins with Breakfast Club

The Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield Inc. (ACCGS) is offering some 200 regional businesses the opportunity to showcase their products and services at the 2009 Business Market Show Conference and Exhibition. The conference and exhibition will be held May 13, 2009 at the MassMutual Center in Springfield. The seventh annual Taste the Market will also be held during the show featuring food prepared by restaurants and caterers chosen and sponsored by participating exhibitors.

The Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield Inc. (ACCGS) will showcase the products and services of some 200 regional businesses at the 2009 Business Market Show Conference and Exhibition. The conference and exhibition will be held May 13, 2009 at the MassMutual Center in Springfield. The seventh annual Taste the Market will also be held during the show featuring food prepared by restaurants and caterers chosen and sponsored by participating exhibitors.

Each year, more than 200 businesses from the Pioneer Valley, Berkshires, northern Connecticut, Worcester and beyond participate. More than 2,000 business professionals are expected to attend the annual show that is sponsored this year by MassLive, LLC, BusinessWest, Health New England, Regional Employment Board of Hampden County, Inc., Cambridge College, The Graduate School at Bay Path College, Fallon Community Health Plan, H. L. Dempsey Company and media sponsors Clear Channel, WGBY, WMAS, WEIB, MassLive, Univision, BusinessWest, Reminder Publications, and the Republican.

The day begins at 7:15 a. m. at the MassMutual Center with the Chamber's May Breakfast Club, sponsored by United Bank, BusinessWest, Health New England, and the Regional Employment Board of Hampden County, Inc. The breakfast will feature Governor Deval Patrick, who will share his insights on the state's upcoming fiscal year as well as some of the current initiatives of his administration.

Doors to the Business Market Show will open immediately following the breakfast at 9:00 a. m.
The Chamber will present free business seminars throughout the day. A complete schedule of seminars and industry experts is online at www. businessmarketshow. com. A microbrew tasting given by Azon Liquors will also be held from 12:00 - 2:00 p. m.

Taste the Market will be held from 3:00-5:00 p. m., and will feature free samples from the menus of area restaurants. The Conference and Exhibition closes at 5:00 p. m.

Admission to the Conference and Exhibition and Taste the Market is free with a business card.
