The Global Light Festival (GLF) beacons to those who are called to come together as one to create the next evolution of humanity and a world that will support it. The Festival highlights a forum that engages everyone in one question: How do we want to live? This first Festival is one of many to be held globally.
The Festival speakers and panels are organized around learning tracks: Mind and Heart, Health and Well being, Children and Families, New Paradigm Governing Structures, and The World and our Power to Transform. The first two days of the Festival will host presenters on a variety of self-help, quality of life, and global topics. A concert on Thursday evening will feature sound healers and musicians from the local area. From Friday evening through Sunday, the organizers will model emerging community-building practices that are revolutionizing health care, education, the nurturing of children, social systems and governance. These practices honor the voice of the individual, which serve to strengthen the collective voice of the people.
The Global Light Festival is the work of Living the Miracle (LTM): A Center for New Paradigm Leadership, Alliance and Global Network. The LTM grew from the work of Carol Fitzpatrick and Mark Torgeson. Fitzpatrick (http://www. carolynnfitzpatrick. com) is a visionary and advocate for a new form of global activism. She is the author of two books, Fear Not My Child and A Call to Remember. Her platform of teaching new paradigm leaders how to live in the flow of joy has evolved from a grassroots wake-up call into an international network of people working together to shift global consciousness. Mark Torgeson is a healer and musician. The use of energetic and sound healing is the foundational support for aiding individuals to heal and transform the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual body, which is an integral part of the Center's activities.
"I have learned that when we open our heart and honor all beings everywhere, not only do we transform our own lives but others benefit from the change as well," says Fitzpatrick.
By mid-2008, the Living the Miracle Global Alliance was birthed through the collective voice of new paradigm leaders that supported one another for bringing about peaceful, harmonious change to the world's social, political, environmental, educational and environmental systems. Net proceeds from the Global Light Festival support the funding of Global Light Centers (healing and leadership centers), which will serve as central hubs for new paradigm communities. The centers and their surrounding communities will leverage the highest and best collective force of human, green, and healing technologies for living together as one.
