AIS Corporation to Secure Miss South Carolina and Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageants
Protection and security support services will include the Miss America Pageant.
Greenville, SC (PRWEB) June 22, 2006
AIS Corporation recently announced they have been selected by both the Miss South Carolina and Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant organizers to provide full scale security services for the duration of the two events. Services will include contestant protection and security support for these pageants and for the Miss America Pageant to be held in early 2007.
For the Miss South Carolina pageant, to be held June 29 through July 8, AIS will mobilize a team of highly skilled and seasoned protection experts to ensure an incident free event. The AIS team will be led by protection veteran Rodney Neely who will take responsibility to execute a security master plan designed specifically to cover minute-by-minute movement throughout the pageant including activities the week prior to the event and the competition week. Neely has been involved with the Miss South Carolina pageant for 15 years. AIS security and protection specialists will coordinate with local law enforcement officials to fully secure all aspects of the pageant for contestant protection, hotels and the competition site.
"Security and protection for our event is extremely important and a critical function for the success of the pageant operations," states Joseph P. Sanders, IV, vice president, Miss South Carolina Organization. "AIS is a natural choice for our needs with their experience, attentiveness and professional manner in which they provide their full and complete security services. We are pleased to have them for the 2006 pageant."
On a national level, AIS will integrate their services with those from state and federal law enforcement including the FBI for Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant to be held in Orlando, Florida August 16-19. Protection will be provided to all contestants and specific security services will cover the competition site, hotels, off-site venues and all movement involved with the pageant. AIS will be involved in all activities related to the event including pre-pageant programs, rehearsals and the final competition.
Additionally, AIS will provide security support and protection services for the Miss America Pageant in 2007. Services will include contestant security and transportation safety for preliminary competition in Hollywood, California and for finals week. AIS will once again be led by Rodney Neely who previously developed, coordinated and managed the Miss America pre-pageant week visit to Washington, DC. This involved integrating with Federal law enforcement and Secret Service officials for visits to state representatives in the Senate and Congress.
"Events of the magnitude of Miss America's Outstanding Teen and the Miss America Pageant demands the highest level professionalism and attention to detail," states Scott Willis, president of AIS. "We deploy those on our team who have pageant and special event security expertise work with state and federal resources to ensure a safe and smooth event from start to finish. It is a privilege to provide these services to all pageant contestants and to the Miss America Organization."
