Website Offers ‘Passports to Health’

Community health program healthyfontana. com recently announced the availability and launch of its passport program. The passports offer a way for users to track their eating and exercise habits in an effort to become healthier.

Fontana, CA (PRWEB) September 25, 2004

Project founder and Fontana City Councilmember Acquanetta Warren says “We are so excited to have these ready for the public. I think these passports will make it fun and easy for anyone who is interested in participating in the Healthy Fontana Program.”

Users can assign their own goals based upon weight, pant/dress size, blood sugar levels, BMI scale or anything they would like to use as a measurement of their individual health. Upon achieving their goal, users can claim a prize at a Healthy Fontana checkpoint, located throughout the Fontana area.

Warren adds “We have been working on the passports for a while, and I am happy to finally get them finished and available to the public, I have had a lot of people asking me for them over the last few months. I think everyone will really like how they turned out.”

Fontana Mayor Mark Nuaimi states “The Healthy Fontana Program and these passports are helping take the city in a great direction. We have tried to make our community more aware of their health by offering parks, walking trails and fitness programs like this one and what we offer at www. fontanarecreation. org.” Nuaimi adds “I think people will like these passports, I think it is a great idea.”

The Healthy Fontana Program was the brain child of Fontana City Council Member Acquanetta Warren. After losing over 40 lbs. herself, she developed the program to encourage others to eat more healthy foods and exercise.

Passports are free can be obtained by visiting the programs website and sending an email request.
