Clinical Neurosciences is the first practice using Doctor’s Administrative Solutions’ (http://www. Dr-Solutions. com)(DAS) electronic health record (EHR) by Aprima to make the connection to BayCare Health System. Doctors affiliated with Clinical Neurosciences of Tampa Bay will now receive electronic records of laboratory and radiology procedures performed on their patients at BayCare Health System facilities throughout Tampa Bay.

The BayCare exchange comes as the newest service offered through the Aprima EHR application by DAS via Dr-Connect, DAS’ community centric, electronically connected healthcare information exchange program. With Dr-Connect, physician’s offices have already been exchanging electronic laboratory requests and results with LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics, and have immediate access to patient prescription drug information and the ability prescribe electronically. Each of these exchanges populates patients’ medical records directly with pertinent data, provides trending information and tracks completion of prescribed tests.
