GT Fitness, a mobile personal training business in the Noosa area, recently donated $10,000 to Make-a-Wish foundation. This is a significant contribution for recently established small business on the Sunshine Coast.
Glenn Trewin, a qualified personal trainer and owner of GT Fitness, is a firm believer of giving no matter how much money you do or don’t make. Glenn explained “It’s not all about the money. The more emphasis you put on providing a goal orientated service to your clients, the more wealth you create for yourself, therefore all the more you can give to charities and those in need.”
Glenn has pledged that 10% of his business income will be donated to local Sunshine Coast charities every year. He is keen to also get involved with local charities in building a better community.
Glenn would like other businesses on the Sunshine Coast to donate 10% of their income to charities as well. Glenn poses the question “If you made a $1 then most people would be more than willing to donate 10 cents of that $1 to charity, Yes? So why not donate $10,000 to charity if you made $100,000? It’s all relative!”
Glenn comes from a military background in the Australian Army Special Forces and has recently rehabilitated himself out of 12 years of chronic lower back pain from an injury which was sustained during his rigorous service training.
Glenn said that he “….tried a vast range of treatment options including Physiotherapy, Yoga, Pilates, Bowen, Reiki, Osteopathy and Acupuncture to name a few. None of these worked individually so I created my own training program based on my treatment history, military and fitness training experience. The result, ‘GT Fitness Circuits’. I traveled overseas for 6 months last year using this program and came back completely pain free, as well as incredibly trim and fit. It’s a sensational program that is for all ages and levels of fitness.”
GT Fitness mission is ‘To improve the physical and mental wellbeing of humanity’. The GT Fitness Circuits are an integral part of this mission. Glenn says his “…motto is Constant and Never Ending Improvement. I encourage my clients to adopt the same mind set.”
