Essentient was established to assist not-for-profits in meeting their fluctuating organizational needs through professional outsourcing, project management and interim management. By utilizing Essentient’s expertise, associations can free up their otherwise valuable resources to concentrate on tasks fundamental to their organization's mission.”

Essentient delivers a wide range of services that includes Board Management, Member Communications, Conference Management Government relations, performance audits and operational planning.

Essentient also offers an innovative service known as “virtual association management” which provides small to medium-sized associations with an office and staff (including an executive director) at a fraction of the usual costs. Wrigley-Thomas further states, “For organizations that depend entirely upon their volunteer work force to perform day-to-day activities, but who have a desire for membership growth, virtual association management represents a smart investment.”

Essentient Association Management is a Canadian company based in Burlington, Ontario and provides association management services throughout Canada. Essentient is also a member in good standing of the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE).
