Caffeinated Cayenne Pepper Body Sprays Relieve Common Skin and Scalp Problems

The topical application of caffeine and capsaicin (hot pepper extract), are proven to promote increased blood flow, circulation and absorption throughout the surface of the skin and scalp. A new line of naturally caffeinated body sprays brings the power of caffeine and capsaicin together to provide fast relief for a variety of topical conditions affecting the skin, scalp and feet.

Schenectady, NY (PRWEB) October 26, 2009

The topical application of caffeine and capsaicin (hot pepper extract), are proven to promote increased blood flow, circulation and absorption throughout the surface of the skin and scalp. A new line of natural body sprays from Greensations®, brings the power of caffeine and capsaicin together to provide fast relief for a variety of topical conditions affecting the skin, scalp and feet.

ThermaSkin™, ThermaScalp™ and ThermaFeet™ are each designed to increase blood flow and circulation by creating a thermal action, triggering nerve receptors to release chemicals that promote topical healing. The caffeine and capsaicin in each formula also promote topical absorption of the other ingredients including herbal extracts, antioxidants and Alpha Lipoic Acid.

"Skin pores and hair follicles get clogged and irritated because of environmental factors such as allergens and pollution. Daily use of soaps and shampoos can also cause harm over time due to added chemicals and preservatives. This leads to itching, dryness, inflammation, scaling and other adverse skin conditions. Increasing surface blood flow and absorption is the key to triggering new skin cell growth while promoting healthy skin pores and hair follicles. Increased circulation promotes healing and that's what our new caffeinated capsaicin body sprays were designed to do," says Niles Porter, Director of Sales for GSC Products, LLC.

Aside from caffeine and capsaicin, Greensations® body sprays also contain other proven herbal extracts along with Vitamin C and Alpha Lipoic Acid. Although the capsaicin is derived from hot peppers, these formulas don't burn, but they do provide a soothing tingling feeling that is guaranteed to stop any itch fast. According to the manufacturer, these all natural body sprays trigger noticeable healing upon the very first application.

"All three body sprays use the power of hot peppers and caffeine to increase topical blood flow, circulation and absorption, but each product also has added herbals that specifically target the skin, scalp and feet. These are three very diverse and very effective natural products," adds Porter.

ThermaSkin™ features Yuzu Oil, Green Tea, Witch Hazel and Kola Nut to provide fast and long lasting relief for a variety of symptoms related to Dermatitis, dry skin, rashes, acne and even bug bites. This caffeinated capsaicin skin spray works for all skin types, and it balances topical PH to promote healthy skin.

ThermaScalp™ features Saw Palmetto, Pygeum and Nettle extracts to invigorate hair follicles for thicker growth and a healthy scalp. Dryness and itching are eliminated almost instantly with just a few sprays, and the relief lasts for up to 8 hours. This formula is designed for all hair types including bald heads.

ThermaFeet™ uses a higher concentration of capsaicin than its sister brands, along with Black Walnut and Goldenseal, to reduce foot pain and increase circulation to the feet and toes. This formula also relieves numbness, dryness and itching. It's especially good for diabetics who are concerned about the circulatory health of their feet.

Greensations® body sprays are all natural with no added chemicals, and they are not tested on animals. All Greensations® products are made in the United States by American workers. ThermaScalp™, ThermaSkin™ and ThermaFeet™ are available at select retailers including salons, drug stores, supermarkets, spas and natural markets. Greensations® body sprays can also be found at various online retailers as well as on eBay® and Amazon®. Visit the official Greensations. com website for more information.

Seeing Is Believing

Seeing Is Believing

A baby relies on sight to learn functions. A child relies on sight to kick a soccer ball into the goal. A teenager relies on site to relate. A business professional relies on sight to create the perfect presentation. The sense of sight makes learning and living easier.

Stone Mountain, GA (PRWEB) August 7, 2006

A baby relies on sight to learn functions. A child relies on sight to kick a soccer ball into the goal. A teenager relies on site to relate. A business professional relies on sight to create the perfect presentation. The sense of sight makes learning and living easier.

“By taking care of your eyes at a young age, you may prevent many problems from occurring later in life,” says QUENTIN MOSES, local field service representative of the Alliance for Affordable Services.

Incorporating some factors into your habits can increase the life of your eyes, even if you already need corrective lenses or contacts. There is no sense in making things worse!

Wash Your Hands

How often do you touch your eyes? You may not even be aware that you do very often! Keep your hands clean and avoid rubbing your eyes. By introducing different substances into your eyes, you increase the odds of having problems.

Protection form the Sunlight

Your mother always reprimanded you for staring at the sun. Though you hate to admit it, she was right. Wear sunglasses with UV protection to shield your eyes from the ultraviolet rays.

Wear Goggles

Through you hated wearing goggles in chemistry class, they served a good purpose! Protecting your eyes while playing sports, working with chemicals or operating tools and machinery prevents bigger problems from happening in the future.

Regular Check-Ups

If you can’t remember when you had your last eye check-up that means it is time to schedule an appointment! Because your eyesight changes slowly over time, you may not realize how your sight has changed. Coordinate a visit to the eye doctor every two years to stay abreast of the development occurring in your eyes

GoDogGo® Remote-Control Tennis Ball Launcher for Dogs Chosen By NBC's Today Show As A Top Pet-Friendly Gadget

GoDogGo® Canine Activity Sport was recently featured on NBC's today show as a fun, canine-inspired gadget, keeping four-legged friends happy, healthy and safe. GoDogGo ($150), is an automatic tennis ball shooter designed specifically for dogs.

(PRWEB) June 11, 2005

GoDogGo® Canine Activity Sport was recently featured on NBC's Today Show as a as a top pet-friendly gadget. Designed to keep four-legged friends happy, healthy, and safe, GoDogGo ($150)is an automatic tennis ball shooter designed specifically for dogs. Of course, it is necessary for a dog's "owner" to get somewhat involved by selecting the launch distance and times from the remote control. Pet owners can then train their dogs to return tossed balls directly to the bucket for continuous play.

GoDogGo™ is the first, and still the only, Automatic Fetch Machine for dogs. GoDogGo was designed to provide hours of healthy exercise and enjoyment for your dog. Most dogs love to play fetch. Love it! Long after they've tired their human companions out, most dogs are still ready to play--play more fetch! GoDogGo was designed to let you choose how much or how little interaction you have with your dog while he's playing with his new favorite dog toy. From the remote control, you can set GoDogGo to any one of three modes.

GoDogGo Canine Activity Sport was designed and developed out of the inventor's need to keep his high-energy pooch, Hershey, active. Hershey, like most Labs, cannot get enough of the game of "fetch." The inventor acted upon this and designed a toy to keep his dog busy while he was working in the yard.

Since GoDogGo® was introduced, it has found many admirers from the elderly pet owner to the paraplegic that absolutely needs to keep their pet fit but may not have the physical ability to do so.

Foundations Increase Impact through Investments in Public Policy, According to New Book

Foundations Increase Impact through Investments in Public Policy, According to New Book

Policy has traditionally been an area untouched by foundations. But increasingly, grantmakers are finding that targeted investments in advocating for policy change can leverage dollars, allowing them to help a lot more people than they would otherwise. To further this work, "Power in Policy: A Funder's Guide to Advocacy and Civic Participation"--written by top philanthropic leaders across the U. S.--reveals strategies and examples of how foundations are approaching this new tack on grantmaking.

St. Paul, MN (PRWEB) February 6, 2007

Wise foundations have figured out a new way to stretch their philanthropic dollars, according to "Power in Policy," a new book from Fieldstone Alliance, Inc, a nonprofit publishing and consulting group headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota.

In Kansas, The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation (GKCCF) got their legislature to increase early childhood education funding from $3.2 million to $8.45 million--despite a tight budget year.

In North Carolina, the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation helped influence the legislature to pass the Clean Smokestacks Act, which requires power plants to significantly reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) and sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions.

And in Massachusetts, The Boston Foundation helped boost support for publicly funded early education from only 33 percent in 1999 to 73 percent in 2003.

Their secret--they all got involved in shaping public policy.

Policy has traditionally been an area untouched by foundations. But increasingly, grantmakers are finding that targeted investments in advocating for policy change can leverage dollars, allowing them to help a lot more people than they would otherwise.

"Power in Policy: A Funder's Guide to Advocacy and Civic Participation," written by top philanthropic leaders across the U. S., reveals strategies and examples of how foundations are approaching this new tack on grantmaking.

According to the book's editor, David F. Arons, "'Power in Policy' provides an all-in-one definitive resource for private and community foundations that will help them become knowledgeable, consistent, and effective in reaching mission-based objectives through public policy and civic involvement."

"Power in Policy" aims to educate and motivate. In addition to thoughtful perspectives and viewpoints on foundations role in public policy this practical book also includes:

Real-life examples of private and community foundations funding and participating in activities that shape public policy. A clear, concise explanation of the legal rules of policy engagement A primer on evaluation of advocacy initiatives Practical steps for developing public policy capacity within foundations and other nonprofits, and A toolkit to help foundations get started and reach their potential as advocates and supporters of advocacy.

For those weighing precisely what role foundations should play, the mix of real-life examples, practical advice, and inspiration in this book are invaluable.

Among the chapter authors and contributors are Emmett D. Carson, PhD, President and CEO of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and past president of the Minneapolis Foundation and Hodding Carter III, former President of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Additional experienced leaders from private and community foundations and the organizations that support them include:

Stuart Comstock-Gay, Cynthia M. Gibson, PhD, Abby Levine, Geri Mannion, Lloyd H. Mayer, Esq., Gayle Peterson, John Sherman, Kelly Shipp Simone, David T. Abbott, Marcia Egbert, Lenore M. Hanisch, Jeff Krehely, Gara LaMarche, Patti S. Lieberman, Maria Mottola, Phil Nash, Mary O'Connell, Helen Davis Picher, Jeffrey T. Pinzino, Tony Pipa, William A. Schambra, and Brent Thompson

It can't be stated enough that efforts to shape public policy or to strengthen civic life more broadly are often long-term endeavors requiring sustained passion and investment. Success is incremental, but mission clarity, wise use of resources, and resolve will result in the kind of changes that make philanthropy all the more worthwhile.

Endorsements for "Power in Policy"

"Philanthropic leadership in the twenty-first century demands that we become more involved in the public policy process. This book is essential in understanding the issues, and how to be an effective community leader and informed advocate."

Steve Gunderson, President and CEO, Council on Foundations

"This collection of ideas and proven strategies amounts to a hand-held think tank. A riveting and deeply rewarding read--it's a great resource for anyone interested in economic and community growth and renewal."

Paul S. Grogan, President and CEO, The Boston Foundation

"Through our public policy grantees, we have seen policies enacted that can improve the health of far more Californians than we could ever hope to have reached through funding direct service alone. If the achievement of your mission requires changes in public policy, pick up this guide. It will help you navigate the challenges."

Gary L. Yates, President and CEO, The California Wellness Foundation

"Just what the philanthropy doctor ordered. Provides a persuasive argument why foundations must change their attitude if they are to preserve and strengthen our civil society and democracy."
