Helping Mothers Keep a Sense of Self

Helping Mothers Keep a Sense of Self

A new website, www. wahara. com, has been launched to provide mothers with support through the challenge of balancing motherhood with finding space for themselves. Experienced Life Coaches blog on issues ranging from parenting to health.

New York City, New York (PRWEB) August 3, 2005

At Wahara. com mothers can talk to a community of Life Coaches who are able to provide support through issues ranging from health and nutrition, life balance, stress reduction, to organizational skills and keeping sight of personal dreams.

Our tagline ‘thriving in motherhood, not just surviving’ incorporates our philosophy that a mother’s own wellbeing and personal growth is just as important as her ability to raise children, keep house, put food on the table, and control the chaos.

All of our Coaches are moms as well as successful Coaches, who share first hand experience of the challenges facing many mothers. Elaine Hamilton, founder of Wahara. com says “the inspiration for this site came through my own challenges and the shock I felt at the lack of support for women to express themselves - other than as mothers. This site is for women who want to create meaningful lives enriched by their children, but not defined by them.”

Wahara. com fills the gap in parenting information by going beyond the ‘how tosÂ’ of parenting and addressing the very real need women have for reinventing themselves and rediscovering their priorities and values once they become mothers.

This website is not just for great mothers, but also for wonderful women.
